    can I ask you to give more detail on why it didn't feel right? I understand that it cost a fair bit, but it never stopped me I have a sadowsky metro and the action is amazing! really easy to play! what's the Valenti like in terms of action and playability!?

    wow .. oh, how I would love another bass! I have a Sadowsky MV4 and I would never just want another bass that sounded and performed the same, so the question would be, is there much difference between the 2?

    this is a lovely looking bass if I had a spare £2000 I would have this in a flash! I have a Metro .. but one day hope to own an NYC. I hope you manage to sell it .. but then I hope you also decide to keep it!

    I am currently looking for an Octave Pedal .. just borrowed an EHX Octave Multi and the depth is really nice. very warm full sound that had my band mates smiling. however, I must admit that I am liking the sound of the EHX Micro Pog at the moment! I would love for one to pop up on sale on BC soon!

    to be honest, I would have to agree with ChrisDaBass ... Sadowsky, all the way! I have a Modulus FB4 (as you will see from my avatar), and loved it immensley. but the Sadowsky is just that little bit better!

    I had the exact same problem. I did a temporary bass swap with a mate, my Modulus for his Stingray .. I was excited to hear the sound, the punch and crunch that you heard from the likes of Flea! The E, A and D string sounded awesome ... the G String!!! flat, no punch, no crunch! I actually cried. my mate mentioned (rumour? not sure) that it was an issue with the pick up at manufacture stage. Official line from EB was that this was a 'characteristic' of the bass sound rather than a balls up (haha). I think they messed up big time and rather than recalling thousands of bass' they just spun that excuse. There really was a massive difference in sound! needless to say the temporary bass swap was just that ... TEMPORARY!

    hey, purchased a genz benz shuttle 6, footswitch, carry case and leads from Chris (he even made me a speakon to jack lead)!! great guy to deal with and would highly recommend. the amp and equipment was delivered within 2 days of payment and it was packed superbly. the amp was exactly what I am looking for and can't wait to get it used! thanks again!

    haha .. I can imagine it's the case for many people (including myself)! just to let people know that the small EQ button has been replaced. Just to make you aware that the Level Display (where the little needle goes nuts as you play), there is a small crack on the clear plastic approx 2mm long! it's only noticable very close up .. which is now I noticed it last night putting the new button on! it doesn't effect anything at all and is purely cosmetic! thanks again!

    I don't know enough about Hevos amps to get excited at this stage! I have googled it and can see it's 400W at 4ohms, however I assume at 8ohms you would be looking at somwhere around 250W? might not be enough for what I want. but please keep me updated though. these Genz Benz don't last long on here though .. popular little things they are!

    ** UPDATE ** just spoken to Ashdown and they are sending me a replacement button for the 'IN/OUT EQ' happy days
