1.
The other Valenti will be closer to your Sadowsky in shape mine is the more traditional chunky fender design. Also the red one is in better condition than mine, mainly as it just seems to get passed around For the money his is the better buy and just to be clear I won't be price matching I'm not Tesco's
haha!! you'd be a rubbish sales man!
2. an awesome reply to my question! thanks I want this one and the other one up for sale haha ... but my other half wouldn't be impressed!!
3.
Personally this is the best jazz bass I've tried full stop and that includes over the 2 USA Sadowsky's I've tried, however it is heavier than the USA Sadowsky's it's pretty much bang on 5kg's
that's about 2lbs heavies than my metro .. could possibly live with that! but there is another Valenti on sale now as well! too much choice!!
4. can I ask you to give more detail on why it didn't feel right? I understand that it cost a fair bit, but it never stopped me I have a sadowsky metro and the action is amazing! really easy to play! what's the Valenti like in terms of action and playability!?
5. wow .. oh, how I would love another bass! I have a Sadowsky MV4 and I would never just want another bass that sounded and performed the same, so the question would be, is there much difference between the 2?
6. this is a lovely looking bass if I had a spare £2000 I would have this in a flash! I have a Metro .. but one day hope to own an NYC. I hope you manage to sell it .. but then I hope you also decide to keep it!

Octave

I am currently looking for an Octave Pedal .. just borrowed an EHX Octave Multi and the depth is really nice. very warm full sound that had my band mates smiling. however, I must admit that I am liking the sound of the EHX Micro Pog at the moment! I would love for one to pop up on sale on BC soon!
8. haha .. could you imagine if you only just realised now that you have been playing your bass upside down all this time!
Maybe that mine was upside down then?
9. to be honest, I would have to agree with ChrisDaBass ... Sadowsky, all the way! I have a Modulus FB4 (as you will see from my avatar), and loved it immensley. but the Sadowsky is just that little bit better!
10. I had the exact same problem. I did a temporary bass swap with a mate, my Modulus for his Stingray .. I was excited to hear the sound, the punch and crunch that you heard from the likes of Flea! The E, A and D string sounded awesome ... the G String!!! flat, no punch, no crunch! I actually cried. my mate mentioned (rumour? not sure) that it was an issue with the pick up at manufacture stage. Official line from EB was that this was a 'characteristic' of the bass sound rather than a balls up (haha). I think they messed up big time and rather than recalling thousands of bass' they just spun that excuse. There really was a massive difference in sound! needless to say the temporary bass swap was just that ... TEMPORARY!
11. good luck with sale dude .. the amp is amazing! would have loved to give the cab a whirl before you sold it!
12. thanks very much sir, great doing business with you
13. just bought one of these inc carry case and footswitch and I have to say they are awesome and this is a great price! shouldn't take you too long to sell this
14. excellent! thanks very much for the fb sir!
15. hey, purchased a genz benz shuttle 6, footswitch, carry case and leads from Chris (he even made me a speakon to jack lead)!! great guy to deal with and would highly recommend. the amp and equipment was delivered within 2 days of payment and it was packed superbly. the amp was exactly what I am looking for and can't wait to get it used! thanks again!
16. delivery would cost more than the amp itself! that's just crazy! haha
17. ok ... PRICE DROP to £150 Need to sell this! Pick up or meet within reasonable distance
18. haha .. I can imagine it's the case for many people (including myself)! just to let people know that the small EQ button has been replaced. Just to make you aware that the Level Display (where the little needle goes nuts as you play), there is a small crack on the clear plastic approx 2mm long! it's only noticable very close up .. which is now I noticed it last night putting the new button on! it doesn't effect anything at all and is purely cosmetic! thanks again!
19. Please don't make me drop the price of this! I need all of it for my new amp bump
20. bump £200 for a 410 300W combi amp ... recession beating price that!
21. I don't know enough about Hevos amps to get excited at this stage! I have googled it and can see it's 400W at 4ohms, however I assume at 8ohms you would be looking at somwhere around 250W? might not be enough for what I want. but please keep me updated though. these Genz Benz don't last long on here though .. popular little things they are!
22. .. damn, just what I was after too! not going to be able to beat a reply 14 mins after initial post! haha
23. I think I made the mistake of emailing them rather than just phoning their tech department. they offered to send one free of charge then and there! amazing service. thanks, it is a bargain indeed
24. ** UPDATE ** just spoken to Ashdown and they are sending me a replacement button for the 'IN/OUT EQ' happy days
