1. Bought this a few years ago from here. The aim with this was to build a Nate Mendel style bass and find an early 70's one that I was able to refinish, however it never happened! Because I felt too guilty refinishing this body, as the it is so well aged and felt I would be destroying it's mojo! So having been sat around for some time doing nothing, I figured it was time to move it on, as looking for an Aguilar DB751. Fender Precision from around '72. To the best of my knowledge I believe it to be the following: Neck '71, pickup and pots '72 and body '71. Tort guard is believed to be a modern Fender replacement. No case with this one. Would prefer collection but happy to ship it, if I was shipping it I would take the neck off to make it easier and safer to send. Based in Yeovil, Somerset.
2. Selling my Orange SP210 cab, had this for a few years. Looking for a Vanderkley 112MNT hence moving this on. Generally very good condition, couple or small marks but hardly anything, very presentable cab. Comes with an Orange flight-case which is great. Allows you to have the cab up higher at gigs which helps to hear it. 600w RMS 8 ohms. Cracking package for the size! Happy to courier, would rather collection. Based in Yeovil, Somerset.
3. After saying I'd never sell it, for some reason last weekend I just woke up thinking I'd sell this! Have been after a Aguilar DB751 so selling to pay towards one I'm hopefully just about to purchase. Is a beautiful bass and one I'm quite attached to, no doubt I'm going to regret this! Status Kingbass Artist from 2003. Wonderful looking bass. 32" Scale, 19mm string spacing, Bendwell. Also being one of the earlier ones, it still has the smaller Status/Hiscox case (similar size to a guitar case!). Blue/Greenish (hard to picture) flame top. Bass has been used, I gigged it from about 2012 when I got it, all the way until at least 2015. It has a few marks to show, had some before I had it and some more gained over the last few years I suspect. However is still a very tidy and good condition bass. Fortunately the majority or marks/dings are on the back of the bass. See pictures... The only other thing to note, this has happened to three of my Kingbasses now, the lacquer on the side of fretboard came away, I've had this filled in by a local luthier with some lacquer so it is smooth/cannot be felt. However it can be seen, this is on the bottom side of the neck so not seen when playing. Looking for £1550. Happy to ship if needs be, but would of course rather collection. Based in Yeovil, Somerset.
4.
I normally prefer a rosewood fb, but this could sway me! Great looking bass. Re. the dates, do you have any reason to suspect that the neck & body are not the original bass. Could it just be a '75 Jazz with replacement PUs & pots?
It possibly could be but it doesn't seem that way. The neck plate has not serial number etc, but that said I guess striping the body could reveal more? I don't know? Open to any advise if anyone has anything to check! But I've priced it hopefully at a price that reflects it isn't considered to be original, if that makes sense....
5.
Still available? Any budging on price?
Hi, I did send you a PM but didn't have a response, not sure if you were trying to offer some help? Or genuinely interested yourself?
6. Bump, would ideally like a sale. Only potential interested at this stage would be a 5 String Status due to a new band project, or any moving head lights!
7. Hi, 52cm Height 44cm Width 32cm Depth And weight, according to my bathroom scales and some online sources is about 20KG, give or take half a kilo...
8. I'm not sure on the body age, I wouldn't really know how to check or be sure... I don't have a sound demo but will look to put one together soon
