The instrument sounds superb, plays wonderfully and is in excellent condition for its age. £1000 o.n.o This Andreas Zeller 3/4 double bass was bought from Malcom Healey in 2008 and is an excellent choice as a first decent double bass. The bass produces a very full sound for an instrument of this price and is easy to play due to an excellent set up. It is strung with a new set of innovation Honeys and the neck has had the lacquer removed for ease of playing. Both the factory bridge and end pin have been replaced with higher quality parts. Pick up only, you are welcome to come and try it out. Here's some official info on the bass; 'Andreas Zeller' double basses are made in Romania to Stentor specifications. They represent outstanding value.
