1.
Thats what I feel my Barefaced Dubster provides. In bucket loads
Another satisfied Dubster user here, for the same use.
2. My Hammers and Thumper are great, shame I won't be able to get another set of Hammers for my VM Jazz though..
3. Saw Red Fang and The Sword earlier this year in Bristol, Red Fang was a great show and I got some tidy pics too. I have to say I wasn't that impressed by the Sword, I like their music but they didn't seem to be enjoying it much.
4. Another classic, http://youtu.be/V_wChlU_S6I And another :-), http://youtu.be/RTWSSCYUD4E
5.
Ah I used to love Subhumans when I was a nipper. That's reminded me I don't have any of their stuff any more. I'll get Day The Country Died on mp3 off Amazon when I'm at work tomorrow, I used to bloody love that album, should make the day chug by quite quickly.
Get the remastered version straight from Dick Lucas via the Citizen Fish/Subhumans website, you know it makes sense ;-)
6. Dunno but here's a pic of it if someone can enlighten us,
7. Phil from Subhumans always had/has a good line, likewise Jasper in Citizen Fish, http://youtu.be/bkAppz_zpY8 http://youtu.be/jy5FMfTqf5k
8. Skoda Roomster here, well worth a look as long as you're not particularly fussed on looks. Rear seats are removable leaving you with enough room to fit a good amount of gear.
9. Orange Goblin, Some You Win, Some You Lose, http://youtu.be/tJoJjH_Zmck
10. Gone the Tone Hammer route after listening to the comparison test, it'll do everything I need it to, cheers for all the replies.
11. Cheers for the suggestions so far, Prime Bass I'm just using the Markbass as a power amp, bypassing the preamp section.
12. So my new Sansamp bass driver turned faulty on me after half a dozen uses, lucky i kept my BD121...., I have been informed i'll be getting a full refund. I am always wary if something fails on me of going down the same route again, so has anyone got any suggestions of for replacing it? It will be on permanently, running into the return of my LMT800 as was the Sansamp, I've looked at the Darkglass pedals can anyone tell me if they (other than the B7K which i know will) would run as described? Thanks in advance.
13. I've never had any problem with mine (touch wood) and I've had it over 2 years now, also have the sp212 which I used with a 1x15 and had no complaints about. Since I've had my Dubster I don't use the old cab set up though as the Terror through the Dubster is ridiculously loud.
14. I have to agree completely, my Dubster is so far removed from my old cabs it's like something from a parallel universe, so light but sounds so huge (and getting better every practice) it's ridiculous.
15.
I'm bolloxed if people don't like it simple.
Me too, low, slow and simple for our stuff. Oh, and LOUD.
16. I ordered my Dubster on 15th November and it arrived 2 weeks ago, it would have been a little earlier but Alex ran out of the right shipping boxes and had to wait for more to arrive. The wait is worth it however, I can't see that I will need to look for anything else on the cab front again, with my old cabs I usually had to have the OTB500 turned up to around 2-3 o'clock to be heard at practice last week it was at 10 o'clock and I was louder than I've ever been and with way more bottom end. And the added bonus of 2 guitarists using the old and new Laney Tony Iommi signature heads, which are anything but quiet, wearing looks of dismay was nice too...
17. I've used Steve Carman who works out of PMT, good guy, very honest.
18. Newest incarnation,
19. My Dubster arrived today, well pleased with it, the weight or rather the lack of it is amazing not tried it out yet but I have every confidence it'll do what I need it to, i.e. shake foundations.
20. 4 more than i really need but who cares...
