1. Set of new Rotosound Nickel Long Scale Roundwound Strings. 45 - 65 - 85 - 105 gauge. £9.50 posted.
2. I'm with Mr. Apple on this one
3. Another BC'er that I am happy to recommend. Good communication, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
4. That is a sorry sight If it could be negotiated down a little more, it wouldn't be a bad price. Finish off the stripping process and assuming the wood was decent a few coats of oil and it might look quite fine.
5. That is a superb looking instrument, a long wait but ultimately worth it.
6. Yes, know exactly what you mean. I have to make a real concerted effort to just listen and enjoy.
7. He could certainly lay down a groove, loved his style
8. I keep a TC BH250 in my gig bag as a just in case, hasn't been needed yet but sooner or later I'm sure it will be. For me, it feels like a wisely spent £200. I've also got a DI pedal MXR80 which is a brilliant piece of kit.
9. That's better. Great work.
10. That's better, looks handsome.
11.
How on earth did that happen? Did the strap button/screw fall out? Or where you jumping round like a lunatic? I can't see how it could fail to the point of the bass falling any other way...
Kev, don't know why I didn't reply to this at the time. The failure was caused by wear, upon close inspection it was just possible to make out. Have to say, they had served me well for a good few years but it was enough to put me off. Since the Schaller fail, I've just been using the pink grolsh type rubber washers. Purchased a dozen or so for a couple of quid, from one of the home brew sellers on Ebay. So far, so brilliant. Another thing I like, is that there is no risk of wacking the bass with the strap lock when attaching/removing the strap at a gig.
12. Well said Chris.
13.
My musical hero. I'm lost for words...
Same here.
14. No Poor Chris, damned cancer.
15. Same here, really enjoyed their set.
16.
Cheers Gary, not the colour scheme I would have normally gone for so I was a bit worried, loved it when it arrived though so all is good. Great to see what I presume is your '66 in your profile picture
Yes, I thought it was about time to change my avatar pic, I'd had the same one of my deluxe P, since I joined.
17. That's a looker Chili. I've still yet to have a play on one of these.
18.
Jungle were excellent, I loved the sound the bassist was getting out of that Thunderbird, and what about that little kid breakdancing?
The kid was very impressive. I've never been much of a Thunderbird fan but it did sound great and look super cool.
19. I didn't get to watch much of it last night but out the bits I did see, the most unimpressive was Florence and the most enjoyable for me was Jungle.

Love it
21. Like I said earlier Dave, it is a right pain. Really wish you luck, let us know.
22. I've come up against the same problem, it is a right pain. Do you know any of the traders, Andy Baxter for example, well enough to ask who they use?
23. I was just listening and playing along to this a couple of days back. Love it
24. That sounds encouraging Paul, hopefully it will all be resolved soon.
