1. The thought of you with a Jazz is just too unsettling Lozz, now give yourself a slap and get with the P Hope the gig was a good one for you.
 2. Friday night bump for this very desirable vintage Leo Fender bass
 3.
Camembert Electrique was a seminal album. I bought it in 1974 for 59p (the price of a single at that time - Virgin were promoting various albums this way to give more exposure to artists). It introduced me to psychedelic rock and blew my little teenage mind.
You brought back a memory for me there Mark, going to the local record shop and getting that for 59p
 4. I use the MXR M80 when I want to boost a passive bass. Don't know whether it is the best but it does everything I want from it and certainly gives a healthy boost when required.
 5.
Doug Keyser of Watchtower used one of these for recording one of the most examples of metal bass playing ever. https://www.youtube....h?v=y4h5L2Ooy5w Great idea of the type of cutting but fat tone you can get when mixed right. I am really tempted myself if only I was not hankering for a Stingray!
I'm off for a listen to Mr Keyser, thanks for that. Meanwhile, you are very welcome to come round for a no obligation test drive.
 6.
Is the make a trade secret or summat? Go on, you can tell us, no-one else will know.
7. My P deluxe that I purchased new in 96, resides in that style of case.
 8. I think Wilkinson hardware is very good for the price point. Also unless you are totally sold on the Sandberg bridge, Gotoh bridges are well engineered and good value. Often coming up on Ebay for between £20-30.
 9. Yep, what Ubit said. I've fitted quarter pounders to a couple of P basses and both times got the wiring looms, caps and pots from Kiogon.
 10. If you love it, then yes it's worth it, not financially probably but for the pleasure of improving it to your liking. You can always put the original bits back on when if it comes to selling it.

 14.
+1 Very cool looking bass....it just looks like it'll sound great, which I'm sure it does... And a good price too for a 32 year old vintage Leo Fender bass! GLWTS
Thanks Silverfoxnik. These old G&L's sound immense.
