1.
Now relieved from GAS, here's the bass family....
Handsome collection once again Dan. Must try out a Lull for myself one of these days.
2.
Forgot about that!!...Its often the case that the stage is so small,or room so tight that we bass players often nearly end up in the drummers lap at times! And what about the racket off the cymbals about 6 inches from our ears!!
Yep, I never gig without ear plugs.
3.
Hey Gary, it'll be your 8-month anniversary on the 4th January.
Discreet, we should celebrate this very special day together.
I recently paid about 12% less for a '73 in much less squeaky condition than this. I don't think you can go wrong either as a player's instrument or as an 'investment'. GLWTS!
Cheers JA
4. That's a real looker, very nice.
5.
Sorry to be a Grinch but it was Rob Davis the guitarist...
Joining you in the Grinch camp and confirming that it was Rob Davis.
6. First off, welcome, you are in the right place. Secondly, it's not dumb to ask those questions, it would be dumb to not ask Don't try to run mate. What you are doing is good, nail those root notes, they are much more important than fills and flash runs. Once you have nailed the groove you can worry about those fills etc.
7.
For my two Fenders and G&L right angle at the bass end. It fits better with the "gig loop" through the strap. Less loopage at the guitar.
Same for me. The cable sits nice and flat against the body and through the strap. Doesn't get caught up on sticky out bits of the drum kit.
8. She's a good un. What a lovely gift. I love a G&L, regularly gig my ones.
9. My wife has just informed me that if I want to listen to any more Ozric, I need to leave the room and do it elsewhere.
10. Plus I'm far removed from Edinburgh.
11. I suppose if I offer advice, it would seem that I was trying to promote my ad, I shall therefore refrain
12. Love the look of these cabs Micheal. Look forward to your review.
13. A pre Christmas bump for this lovely festive looking Super P
14. Nick is another BC'er that I am happy to recommend. No messing about, immediate payment and great communication, just like it should be
15. Can't say I've ever encountered this problem. Maybe I'm just easily pleased
16. A go on, treat yourself for Christmas, bump
17.
Love the design, but any strap that completely relies on a little pin makes me very uncomfortable! The schaller design is such that, if the mechanism fails, the bass will not crash to the floor. If this (and others like it,Warwick, Dunlop etc) system fails....
My schaller strap lock had a major fail a few months back and my bass would have certainly hit the floor if I hadn't managed to stop it.
18.
Me too, classic!
Yep, another Skank masterpiece.
