1. I looked at them a while back but haven't actually taken the plunge yet. There was a stand mounted one (not a Helicon though) for sale a few weeks back on here, think it was OBBM selling it. Might be worth checking out.
2. It is well getting a copy, money well spent.

6.
There's an 'ignore list' in the your profile drop-down at the top right. I suggest that putting BeardyBob on it might be a good idea for those who don't want to read his stuff. Just a thought.
Spare a thought for us Mods, we can't put anyone on ignore
7. Hutton speaks the truth. Make the effort and put up pics. We all love pics.
8. What a cracker. The bass and your other half
9. You now have a set of knobs to be proud of mate.
10. James, you have had your answer from the only people that you need to be taking any notice of. For me, that would be end of discussion
11. I always take two basses to each and every gig.
12.
This thread is becoming Basschat's own 'War and Peace'...

You'll "come by and look at it". Look at it? Is that it? You won't play it and buy it? Just *look*. I bet Gary can't bear the anticipation.

13. I just play each and every note on the instrument, first unplugged and then through an amp. No tunes necessary.
14. One of my faves. I recommend the album "A nod's as Good as a Wink" Just love their feel, it sounds a bit loose and like it could all fall to bits.
15.
Thank you. No, it's the black one. I looked long and hard at the blue beauty that was on here a while ago but SevenReason's black one just had something about it. Plus, he had the P pickup, guard and a Glock preamp all included which kind of made up my mind for me. Pics will come
Very nice, I was tempted by that one
16. Is it the blue one? Whichever one, congrats and get some pics up.
17. There is far too much slating of Roger Waters. I was watching some footage a few nights back and thinking how what he was playing was exactly right for the particular number, very few notes but perfectly placed and very restrained.
18. That must have been a disappointment, it went for less than it should have done. Someone got a lot of bass for that price.
19.
April..? That's a bit pessimistic! Though as you're on page 4, I can understand why...
Rather than being pessimistic, I look at it as enjoying a lovely instrument for a few more months......honest
