1. Thank you gents. It is a pleasure to play. For the moment my P bass satisfaction is complete. I'm well covered on the P front. modern 2013 Dingwall, vintage 1966 & 75 Fender, and the 80's and 90's are represented as well.
2.
Stunning!
Thanks, it is a lovely one but still no takers. On the plus side I get to enjoy it for a while longer
3. We could have had a coffee meet up Give me a shout if you come back down for the Dusty
4. A mixed bag today. Shine by Take That and Bubbles Biffy Clyro
5. That really does look the part. Savor the wait Mark
6. It's not good though is it? A company selling a product, whatever the product, should be able to furnish a potential purchaser with all the specifications.
7. Actually had this a few days now, but needed to spend some spending time getting to know it and what a pleasure that has been. My thanks to Grand Wazzoo for igniting the Dingwall GAS in me, offering advice and also for sorting out the negotiations/purchasing. He has really gone above and beyond. The quality of design, workmanship and materials is exceptional. Just looking forward to gigging it now. 8. I've often heard that they are very good at customer care. Tis a pleasing thing
9. I love my Fenders but mostly gig my 1980's G&L SB1, it could never be described as blah.
10. When you say it's muddy live, is that through FOH p.a. or your rig. What is your rig. What strings? Give us a little more info
11. Another week, another bump and I'll drop the price to £50.
12. Apart from a quick trip out for a coffee this morning, I've been semi comatose on the settee all day. Gigging absolutely exhausts me, still love it but think it might time to retire.
13. Looks like you got yourself a good deal
14. Not one of our best last night. Second number in and the venues sound limiter did its job. Bloody hateful things. We discovered that it was very sensitive to G chords, so spent the night worrying with every approaching G. I made a few mistakes, caused by being too tired, watching the limiter and being on auto pilot. Having said all that, the audience loved us and were up and dancing from track one, set one and we have more bookings.
15. A weekend bump. Surprised this hasn't gone yet. Dealers are selling similar, although not in such good condition and without the original case, for £200-£300 more.
16.
Thanks everyone. That one spent the 80's and 90's locked away under a bed and is very special. It even smells good!
Know exactly what you mean about it smelling good, feel the same about one of my P basses
17. Thanks for the bump. It doesn't control anything but midi devices can be connected.
18. Bitsa's also get the the thumbs up from me, well some of them do . I've made up a few in recent years and two of them in particular turned out impressively good. One I sold on here last year and the other I still gig with and play at home most days.
19. No messing about with Ian, made contact to say he wanted my speakers and came round and paid the next day. A fine BC'er
