It's not easy at the moment is it Dan. Keep considering putting my 75 on Ebay but damn, those fees are high, plus there is a high numpty factor to contend with. Hope you get a sale on there.

Can't imagine a thin layer of plastic will have much inpact on the magnetic field. The problem I've found with some of these type of replacements is more to do with their actual size/shape not quite fitting the cutouts in the pick guard. Not a huge problem of course but can be a bit of a pain.
