2. Yes, plenty of love. Luke posted about it previously as he was planning to buy.
3. I have regretted selling mine so this is very tempting. I think the weight would make it a no goer for me for gigs but as a collectible, hmmm. Thanks for the kind offer.
4. Looking good Paul, looks like a decent purchase
5. At 25p per hour you should expect to have your door beaten down by a stampede of students
6. The Doc did this one for me, nothing exciting but it was much better value than having to get one from the states.
7.
Haven't we done this before?
Maybe but it's always good fun.
8. It looks very cool. Good work Dad. Love the look of the covers, even though I can't actually play a bass with covers on.
9. Maybe we will catch up there at some point.
10. What was the sound like in there Flyfisher? Most gigs I've been to at the Corn Exchange, the sound has been dreadful. They have been the events mixed by their own sound man though. He got the severe hump with me and my G&L bass when I last played there. He declared it far too loud and accused me of having a pre amp hidden somewhere Refused to believe it was passive.
11.
I'm a huge fan of the quarter pounder. It tames the mid heavy element of the average P bass and gives a bit more clarity in the low end. Best of all - it reacts really well to the tone control. Nice and bright when it's full up and deep and thuddy when it's all the way down.
Got to agree with the Fretmeister. Gigged my P bass equipped with quarter pounders at the weekend. Sounded lush.
12. Hope you have a spiffing time. I like a bit of Keane, haven't listened to them in a while though. Off to search through the CD cupboard.
13. Welcome Remy. If you want bass geekiness, you're in the right place.
14. Welcome. You have some seriously lovely instruments there. You may also hold the record for being the longest lurker on Bass Chat.
15.
When I click on the photos, I'm told they're private & I can't see them.
Sorted, they are not private any more.
16. That looks like a neat little unit.
17.
Where's the "I give up" icon.
18. Great plan. If it goes to the vote, mine would be for four strings.
19. Doh. Forgot to say, lovely looking bass.
20. Also received my delivery of Jaffa from Gav. Excellent service, rapid delivery and fine prices. One of the good guys
