I like coffee, I like bass so it sounds like a fine idea.
Not so sure about traveling in to London at the moment.
I;ll check in nearer the time and see where abouts it's happening.

Conan has answered that one very well.
For me Seymour Duncan quarter pounders.

Same with our gig on friday night. But shouldn't have been surprised as the publican didn't publicize it, didn't even put the posters up that I hand delivered a couple of weeks back.
He certainly provided some tasty bass lines.
Until very recently Son of a Preacher Man was in our set. I did my best to stay close to the original, with some of those nice little fills and restrained busyness, if you know what I mean.
I think the Chromes are brilliant, plenty of thump. I have to admit though, that they are the only ones I've used, so I can't make any comparisons.
Pretty sure Strings Direct do single strings, might be worth a look on their site.

Quality tunes there Gary
We've added 'Time' into our set. That's a fun bassline, rhythm varies a lot and also varies between staccato notes and sustained notes. Good fun
[/quote] Still love that number, after all these years, I always enjoy it and seem to be in the right mood for it.

Couple of nice pics of the bass in action! Great! Do you mind if we use them, Gary?
