1.
Thanks Gary. Do you have any suggestions for pup replacement please? cheers Mike
Conan has answered that one very well. For me Seymour Duncan quarter pounders.
2. Don't think the CV necessarily needs any upgrades but if you like tinkering then a change of pups can make a big difference.

4.
sparcely populated
Same with our gig on friday night. But shouldn't have been surprised as the publican didn't publicize it, didn't even put the posters up that I hand delivered a couple of weeks back.
5. I can vouch for this sounding very good. I very much liked the addition of the switching. Good luck with your sale.
6. He certainly provided some tasty bass lines. Until very recently Son of a Preacher Man was in our set. I did my best to stay close to the original, with some of those nice little fills and restrained busyness, if you know what I mean.
7. Three 60's P basses on the same day That's an impressive collection you have. Good luck with your sales.
8. I think the Chromes are brilliant, plenty of thump. I have to admit though, that they are the only ones I've used, so I can't make any comparisons. Pretty sure Strings Direct do single strings, might be worth a look on their site.
9.
The baton's gonna need some "lessons in love"
10.
Quality tunes there Gary We've added 'Time' into our set. That's a fun bassline, rhythm varies a lot and also varies between staccato notes and sustained notes. Good fun
Still love that number, after all these years, I always enjoy it and seem to be in the right mood for it.
11. Kylie Minogue, Can't get you out of my head and Katy Perry, I kissed a girl. for the poppier part of our set
12.
And now it's only halfway up, so it's neither up nor down.
13. Seems to be back up but given the above comments I'm a bit reluctant to log in
14.
Couple of nice pics of the bass in action! Great! Do you mind if we use them, Gary?
Course not

16. The Bass Chat regulars will be waking up soon bet one of them will be able to help. Meanwhile I'm off for a caffeine fix and to have a think , maybe my head will work a little better then.
17. Didn't notice that the other night when I was noodling about with it, mind you we were all chatting. Are you talking an electrical buzz or a resonance type of thing with the speaker?
18. That's looking great Fran. Excellent work Sir
19. Glad to hear the op has left you pain free, that must be a huge relief for you. Hope you can manage some bass playing, should be good therapy. I'm too far away to assist but looks like you are sorted anyway.
20. Was about to sing his praises but he beat me to it.
21. Understood, maybe I sounded a bit confrontational but I just know that if someone said one of my items sounded a bit pricey, I might feel a bit miffed. As you were
22. I've got the SPB 3 quarter pounders in a couple of my p bass projects. Money well spent, punchy, growly and sound damned fine in a band setting. Not got experience with the others that you mentioned, other than Wilkinsons which have been in a few basses that have passed through my hands. Seemed adequate, and would do the job for not much cash. Probably not the best choice if you want a really obvious upgrade.
23.
Willing to consider an ffer?
If making this sort of comment/offer, it really should be by pm
