Cheers Gary. Nice bit of maple you've got there, too

Thanks, It is rather spectacular but thinking of moving it on now.
I've got the same model, although not as attractive as yours.
Think you paid top dollar really but doubt you will lose out long term. Meanwhile just enjoy
Wouldn't that be like putting a V8 in an Austin Allegro
Just joking.
they are excellent pups, as are Wizards, Seymour Duncans and of course the proper fender pups.
These are lovely instruments and to my mind with that additional pup, much more versatile than the usual p/j varieties.
I love mine, had it from new and don't intend to sell it.
Good luck with your sale, I think it's a lot of bass for that money.
Glad to find you so upbeat and enthusiastic Nige, good man.
I really like what I've heard of Kit's tunes.
Running as well, I'm impressed, you'll be giving up the smokes next
Richard if you do visit mac towers to see the jazz, I've got a couple of P basses loaded up with quarter pounder pups, you might find the sound to your liking.

Hopefully the above link will work. My G&L in action.
I have an old SB1 and love it. The pups are hugely powerful and with DR highbeams it growls in a very pleasing way.
You're welcome to visit, with doughuts , although I'm about an hour and a half from you,in Herts.
