1.
I love Groove is in the Heart.... Simple bassline yet grooves like nobodys business
It does rather I really like the Muse number but I suspect it wont prove to be a popular choice on the pub circuit around these parts.
2. Ahead of next weeks band rehearsal I have spent a couple of hours this evening learning: Muse Plug In Baby. The Killers All these things I've done. Deelite, Groove is in the heart. Quite enjoyed myself really So, what new tunes have other BC'ers been working on today?
3.
when I saw this thread and opened it, my reaction was "Oh, f***ing hell....." I then remembered that I can't currently afford it.......... Gutted. Would love it.
same here.
4. Looking good, hope you are very happy together
5. Ideally my gigging basses need to be under 10lb for these days. I've also found body shape makes a difference, for example I can comfortably play a p bass for longer than a lighter jazz bass.
6.
Nice Bass mate if I had some money I would have this off you in a flash
Thanks, it is a nice bass and may be it will still be about when you have some funds.
7. No you are not being picky. If the songs bore you now, just think how it will feel after you've gigged them a few times. The only time I would learn that many songs would be for a dep, not an audition.
8.
Damn fine and great price. Shouldn't stick around too long. Good luck with sale, these really are great value for money.
Thanks for that and a sunday morning bump
9. Just back from the bash and very good it was too. Good to meet a few of my cyber friends, although not able to get a chat with everyone as I couldn't stay all that long. A very well done and thanks to the organisers.
10. Your wallet has taken a good bashing then Looks good.
11.
Where are you based? "not up north" means inside M25?
Just outside M25 about 15 mins from junction 25.
12. and replied. Don't know what has happened with my ad, I seem to have managed to lose all the text. Too tired now but will put it right in the morning.
13. Back up for sale as the BC'er who wanted it, had some financial issues and had to back out of the purchase. Really lovely condition and everything functions as it should. Recently been gassing for a jazz again and so purchased this. It's a good one but I'm just more at home with a P bass, so I'm moving this straight on. Very nice wood grain showing through the burst. No chips or other damage. The neck joint is very good, infact better than I've seen on some USA Fenders. Hopefully you can see the detail in the photos below. Some plectrum marks to pick guard but other than that, looks like new. Strings are good roundwounds, don't know what make but seem like decent quality. £195.00. Bank transfer or cash please. No case, so would prefer collection. I'm in Hertfordshire. If you want it couriered let me know and I will get a price.
