1.
Were you having such a good time? Were you having a ball?
Indeed I was Deb. More so than Mrs Mac was having at the party, so I'm told
2. Wifey was out last night, so I took the opportunity to start learning Queens Don't Stop Me Now for an upcoming gig. Quite enjoyed myself
3. Nice job, really enjoyed that.
4. What about the Bass Doc Nige?
5.
That makes it's construction closer to a vintage Rickenbacker than a Fender - that's where Rick fingerboards always come away from the neck.
Take that back immediately, or risk getting us all sued to hell and back by you know who
6. I've always liked the thinking behind the p/j combination but usually found the reality a bit disappointing. For me the P pup is suffecient, if I want more mids then I generally look to the eq section on my amp.
7. A didn't want to ebay this but might have to bump.
8. Another bump and it's still here.
9. Good man. Sounds like one of the better senior moments.
10.
Last night remembered I was meant to have learnt Jump by Van Halen 5 minutes before I was due to leave for my gig. Fortunately it only took as long to learn as it did to listen to!
Good man

12.
What even Bootsy's speaking part in 'Groove...'? That's impressive.
13. A surprisingly this is still here bump
14. I sometimes sit at rehearsals but find myself standing again for the more boisterous numbers. I just don't/can't play with the same ooomph when sitting.
15.
I love Groove is in the Heart.... Simple bassline yet grooves like nobodys business
It does rather I really like the Muse number but I suspect it wont prove to be a popular choice on the pub circuit around these parts.
16. Ahead of next weeks band rehearsal I have spent a couple of hours this evening learning: Muse Plug In Baby. The Killers All these things I've done. Deelite, Groove is in the heart. Quite enjoyed myself really So, what new tunes have other BC'ers been working on today?
17. Good for you, they look great
18.
when I saw this thread and opened it, my reaction was "Oh, f***ing hell....." I then remembered that I can't currently afford it.......... Gutted. Would love it.
same here.
19. Looking good, hope you are very happy together
20. Ideally my gigging basses need to be under 10lb for these days. I've also found body shape makes a difference, for example I can comfortably play a p bass for longer than a lighter jazz bass.
21.
Nice Bass mate if I had some money I would have this off you in a flash
Thanks, it is a nice bass and may be it will still be about when you have some funds.
22. No you are not being picky. If the songs bore you now, just think how it will feel after you've gigged them a few times. The only time I would learn that many songs would be for a dep, not an audition.
