1. Good man, I enjoyed reading of your journey so far Don't think people should be sniffy about jam nights, not my sort of thing these days but they are great for broadening your knowledge and contact base, whilst enjoying yourself.
2.
Not sure where the bass will be next weekend but is there any chance it will can make it to the Herts Bash on Saturday??
if it does make it to the bash, I can gig it saturday night at the Lord Haig in Hertford if required.
3. I've used Axesrus for knobbage purchases. Don't know if they do the ones you are after but might be worth a look, if you haven't already.
4. Looks good, hope you stay happy with this one.
5. Very pleasing choice of notes, lovely timing and right for the song. Thanks Nige that is the first bit of slap that I've enjoyed in a long long time.
6. This is the first time I've encountered someone wanting to build a bass around a set of pups, excellent.
7. A sad end to the day. Bloody cancer
8. I have no further info but it's always good to see this pic.
9. I've tried both ways on my P Deluxe. Could not hear or feel any difference at all. For those who claim to be able to hear a difference, I bet it's not in a band situation.
10.
Saturday was a lovely olde pubbe in Hoddesden. Went down really well and had a blast. I'm starting to find my feet in the band and we're starting to feed of each others energies now. Rather than concentrating on playing the numbers right, I'm concentrating on making sure the show's good. Starting to enjoy myself more! Truckstop
Next time you are in Hoddesdon let me know, which pub did you play?
11. Hi Mark. Having had my hands on your bass, I've got to say I thought it was a decent example and therefore very saleable. Like others have said though, now is not a brilliant time to sell, if you want to get a good return. If it's not pleasing you, move it on, life is too short to be playing an instrument that isn't quite doing it for you, when there are so many other good ones out there. Again, like others have said, put the original neck back on. Keep the vintage one for another project or move it on. Good luck and enjoy the search for the right one. It might take a while and you could go through a few more before you get there but that's all part of the fun.
12. I'm tempted even though normally I'm a P bass chap through and through, much like I thought you were Loz Very nice. I would have to sell something first.

14. I've used them and found that they were everything I would expect from a tuner, and at a good price.
15. Yes, nice looker and the build quality is almost certain to be top notch.
16.
Like this one? My Pino
Nick, now you're just being cruel, tormenting the lad.

18. Hi Mel. Hope you are well. Did it get traded on here? Good luck, really hope you track it down, or one just like it.
19. Love it. Don't think I would be able to set about relicing it, if it were mine. I would just play it, practice with it, rehearse with it, gig it and let it just age and wear in its own time and way. Good job though, looks great
20. Impressive, looking good.
