1. A sad end to the day. Bloody cancer
2. I have no further info but it's always good to see this pic.
3. I've tried both ways on my P Deluxe. Could not hear or feel any difference at all. For those who claim to be able to hear a difference, I bet it's not in a band situation.
4.
Saturday was a lovely olde pubbe in Hoddesden. Went down really well and had a blast. I'm starting to find my feet in the band and we're starting to feed of each others energies now. Rather than concentrating on playing the numbers right, I'm concentrating on making sure the show's good. Starting to enjoy myself more! Truckstop
Next time you are in Hoddesdon let me know, which pub did you play?
5. Hi Mark. Having had my hands on your bass, I've got to say I thought it was a decent example and therefore very saleable. Like others have said though, now is not a brilliant time to sell, if you want to get a good return. If it's not pleasing you, move it on, life is too short to be playing an instrument that isn't quite doing it for you, when there are so many other good ones out there. Again, like others have said, put the original neck back on. Keep the vintage one for another project or move it on. Good luck and enjoy the search for the right one. It might take a while and you could go through a few more before you get there but that's all part of the fun.
6. I'm tempted even though normally I'm a P bass chap through and through, much like I thought you were Loz Very nice. I would have to sell something first.

8. I've used them and found that they were everything I would expect from a tuner, and at a good price.
9. Yes, nice looker and the build quality is almost certain to be top notch.
10.
Like this one? My Pino
Nick, now you're just being cruel, tormenting the lad.

12. Oh that's a pain for you.
13. Hi Mel. Hope you are well. Did it get traded on here? Good luck, really hope you track it down, or one just like it.
14. Love it. Don't think I would be able to set about relicing it, if it were mine. I would just play it, practice with it, rehearse with it, gig it and let it just age and wear in its own time and way. Good job though, looks great
15. Impressive, looking good.
16.
I've tried chasing the elusive YOB bass for a while and keep finding them lacking - this one looks nice enough to consider the journey to find out...
You should, Si is a top man to deal with and it does look like one very handsome P.
17. A great thread Billy Apple. I like reading this sort of stuff Will have a look and see if I can find any ole pics.
18. Like it, refreshingly different. eye catching but not in a blingy way
19. Alex Give me a shout if none of the others work out. I'm about half hour or so from you, and not gigging this weekend.
20. Come on then Clarky, pics, pics, pics, pics, pic, pics, or just tell us if it arrived safe and sound after its journey.
21. I love that Gareth, very nice.
22. Good find. I shall have my headphones on this evening, listening to Fragile and then the Yes Album, whilst wifey watches dross on the box.
23. Tony is a fine chap to deal with. Good communication and paid when he said he would. All good.
