1. Weird but I very much want it.
2. Know what you mean. Well just enjoy it for as long as it is in your company then.
3. Nice one Nick, take it this one is a keeper then?
4.
If you use lemon oil on any open grained fretboards it will eventually bow the neck. Lemon oil evaporates and will really dry out your fretboard. Use it and you will end up with serious problems.
I've yet to spot a bowed neck on any of the basses that I've used Lemon Oil on over the last twenty years or so
5. Daz, I was hugely relieved to see Glen Tilbrook had lost the hideous beard but was very disappointed with the performance
6. Good luck with it. My advice: Be there early or at least on time. Set up in an effecient manner. Tune up silently. Don't widdle about on your bass prior to start or between numbers. Like others have said, lock in with the drummer and just keep it solid. At an audition, they are more likely to be impressed if you make them sound good, rather than too much in the way of bass gymnastics
7. We tend to go for the original recorded version.
8. These are cracking instruments, still regret selling my one a couple of years back. Good luck with your sale.
9. Really enjoyed it. Not usually a fan of Mick Hucknall but thought his was a great performance. Stereophonics great, although horrid drumming. Like Lozz said, that Beverley Knight can certainly sing but for me, she overdid it. Vocal equivalent of a tooo widdly guitar solo All in all though, good T.V.
10. My experiences with Wilkinson kit have all been good.
11. Looking good. Enjoy.
12. Like it Clarky72, very nice.
13. Blimey Nick, another very handsome bass. another one for me to lust over.
14. Another recommended Bass Chatter, a pleasure to deal with.
15. Thanks Tim. I look forward to watching the whole thing later, after my kitchen duties have finished for the day
16. Maybe you should spend today safely languishing in a chair, spending your time on Bass Chat
17. The map even shows where his house is
18. Seeing that sign reminds me of many a drunken night in the Castle Inn and the very camp head barman Wilf.
19. Nice one Nick. I am tempted but like you, I already have four P basses, one of them being an older deluxe. I just know that I'm going to keep on returning to this ad though
20. Just remembered, Bothel.
21. Good man, thanks. Haven't been up in that neck of the woods for ages. Once upon a time knew some girls in Egremont and Cleator Moor. We would go to a club/disco called The Hunting Lodge, can't recall where that was though.
22. Yes spotted this the other day and found it a truly unsettling experience Why would anyone do that?
23. This is one seriously handsome bass. Not usually my sort of thing being more into P basses these days but got to say I love this. Please can I visit if I ever get myself back up to Cumbria
