1. Fairly recent convert here. Love them on my 58 bitza p bass. They are also a brilliant company to deal with, their customer service being really first rate.
2. If you do decide to go with the traditional type bridge, then I'm with White Cloud, The Gotoh 201 is a really nice bit of kit and for me much more pleasing than the Badass. I've not got any experience of the other type of bridge, other than on my Wal. Not broken a string in a gigging situation but as you say, it could happen.
3. If I'm using rounds these days it has to be DR Hghbeams. If flats then it D'addario Chromes. So smooth and lovely
4. I hadn't spotted the price tag but looked at the Wal anyway.
5. Enjoy your big spend up and hope it helps relieve the boredom.
6. If you click on the pic you should hopefully be able to see all the controls fairly clearly. If not, let me know and I can send you some more pics. Thanks,
7. High quality three ply, mint green, precision pick guard. I can't confirm the manufacturer but the quality is better than some of the Fender ones that I've seen. Screening foil to the control area. Very good condition with just some light scratches/pick marks. This is a thirteen screw hole version, with additional holes for thumbrest and cover. £14.50 inc. postage. Bank transfer please. 8. Enjoy playing it at home then mate. I decided a couple of days back to abandon the project. Various reasons, health, finances etc. Rather than have all the parts knocking about here I'm going to move them on. Stupid really as I'll probably be searching for all the same items, when the time comes to undertake another project.
9. Looking good Paddy. Have you gigged it yet?

13. thanks FG. I use Flicker but it just wouldn't work. sorted now
14. Bit of a fail on the pic, can't upload. If you want pics pm me with an email ad. thanks.
15. Excellent pedal and in first class condition. Very effecient octaver, well built and easy to use. I'm making a concerted effort to only hold on to the kit that is getting used, so although this is fun to play around with at home, I have no use for pedals in my current band. Pic below but if you want any more let me know. Selling for £[s]29.00[/s] new price £25.00 inc of post. Bank transfer please. . IMG_0164 by gem5819, on Flickr
16. I would say that if you are able to entertain people using a musical instrument, then you can be classified as a musician. Doesn't necessarily mean that you are a good musician of course but none the less a musician.
17. If you want a finished result that looks pleasing, it's got to be the complete sand down option. If you do half a job, that's exactly what the finished job will look like. If it looks good, you will want to pick it up and play. If it looks dog rough you wont
18. Morning Andy. Think Mr. shonks is suggesting marking it as sold on your heading. Happy New Year to you
19. How I like to hear it
20. The back row for me too. But they are all rather lovely Chris
