1. I would happily recommend Charla, he is a fine chap to deal with.
2. Big John is a man of few words Nice looking bass though
3.
Tell them 'see you next Tuesday'.
I concur
4.
I can wholly understand that one, a lot of metal fans are into the whole symphonic side of things as well, as it somehow fits so well with metal. My only guilty pleasure is a very vague one of cheesy pop songs, most people who like 'real' music absolutely hate them, but some are just satisfying to play. Liam
I've been playing quite a bit of pop recently, Katy Perry's Hot and Cold being one example and it's so much fun. Brown Eyed Girl is in the same set though, which is not fun anymore.
5. I didn't realise they were one and the same. Well at least we know now, thanks
6. Sorry to hear of this. I've always felt reasonably safe buying on here but I suppose as the membership grows it will happen more and more . Please do leave the feedback.
7. I know that those multi tools seem like a good idea and can be very handy but I avoid them and prefer single, good quality tools. My thinking is that they are weighty and bulky, and that there is more chance of me damaging the instrument than when using proper tools. I always take my tool box along to gigs, including a soldering iron. Haven't had to use it yet but it's in the car just in case.
8. Just sitting here feeling saddened by the passing of Jon Lord and then found this thread
9. A bit more info about posting: Courier fee to most of the mainland is £15.00. If insurance is required the fee is £17.50 (which is cover for upto £500). Given that I don't have a case, I would rather post with the neck removed and all carefully wrappped of course.
10. Nice one Wayne. Good job with that bass.
11. Make sure you let us know how it goes. Best of luck
12. I thought this would have gone by now bump
13. Still available and still a very nice bass bump
14. I couldn't find one that was absolutely perfect, pretty close but it would have meant re drilling a few of the holes. Your best bet would be to pm Bass Doc. Send him your one to be used as a template and he'll knock you up a loverly-jubberley brand new shiney masterpiece.
15. Don't know what you should pay but I love the colour.
16. Good luck with it. Did the same a couple of years back. Totally knackering but enjoyable. Felt jet lagged and like I had been trampled on the following day.
17. Not actually tried the Hammers but my daughter had the 84's in her jazz and I had 64's in mine. They were a worthwhile upgrade over the stock pups. Andy at Wizard is very approachable, helpful and willing to chat through your requirements.
18. Back to the top for this nice little amp at the bargain basement price of £40.00
