1. Mine is an 87 I think
2. I tried one out in a store and was impressed, think that was an american one though. The USA SB1 that I own is very very good.

4. Love the pic I know what look would have been on my face if my six year old had got her hands on my bass.
5.
At last, I can join the ranks
Handsome
6.
I like them. I've not been playing my Fender's for the last 9 months as I've fallen for my Hofner. Been thinking of selling the 2 remaining ones but this could be a great second bass that wouldn't be so much money sitting idly in a case.
Never thought I would hear you say that you've moved away from your Fenders
7. If you have found woodworm holes that weren't there previously, it's where the little blighters have eaten their way out and buggered off to start munching away at any other timber that takes their fancy. Good news is the bass may well now be free of woodworm. The bad news, your house may crumble in to a pile of dust
8. We use Graphic Nature in Hertford. Facilities are good.
9.
,and I have been inspired in taking my playing to a whole new level. Trev.
It's amazing how a new instrument can do that. Sometimes if I find myself stuck in a rut playing wise, I'll get out one of my basses that hasn't been played in a while and get fresh inspiration . Nice bass, enjoy.
10.
True but in a forum where most guys venturing under the hood would rather pay a bloke to build them the simplest of looms than solder one up for themselves, it's hardly surprising.
In my defence, it's due to visual impairment rather than lack of ability.
11. Nice work, looking good.
12. Congrats Nick that is one very handsome beast. I like the customer service in Coda, I've been in a few times and always been welcomed. I'm going to pay them a visit on tuesday after my visit hospital appointment, it would be daft not to really as the hospital is only about a mile away from them. Maybe I'll leave my wallet at home just in case they still have the sonic blue and I'm in the mood to celebrate .

14. Kiogon is yer man. Just get one of his super duper Greasebucket type kits. the work is done for you, pots, input jack, cabling etc. just drops in,no soldering required
15. Fear not, there's always another bout of GAS, it just hasn't got to you yet. Be patient, give it time and you will be rewarded
16. Yep, been all around the houses bass wise and now firmly in the P bass camp. Although I do gig a G&L regularly but even that is p bass shaped
17. Lovely grain on the 77 Nick, looks really nice. Is it a heavy one?
18. I really like this bass but just can't go for it at the mo. Good luck with your sale.
19. Having to repeat yourself Nige
20. With a bit of eq tinkering and technique adjustment, I find my P basses perfectly fine for the poppier numbers. Don't butcher it
21. I would happily recommend Charla, he is a fine chap to deal with.
22. Big John is a man of few words Nice looking bass though
23.
Tell them 'see you next Tuesday'.
I concur
