1. No effects for me. I did purchase a chorus pedal earlier in the year, can't remember why. Since sold and now pedal free.
2. Dave, glad it's a happy ending to this sorry saga. Time to enjoy your purchase now.
3. yes, been watching this one for a few days.
4. It still available and in need of a new home!
5.
Does a passive Wal actually "sound" like a Wal ... if you know what I mean?
Yes mine does as well
6. I think a BC'er recently paid about £1600 for one on ebay, which I think is probably on the high side.
7.
Oh yeah? They've had some lovely carp out of Redmire very recently.
I think I've got to admit to having become a fair weather angler. Most of my adult life I've fished all year round and loved it, but this year I suddenly don't want to do it anymore. Getting my fishing fix with a daily dose of Matt Hayes on Quest.
8. Not at this time of year mate, the lakes are frozen and the fish aren't feeding.
9.
The stuff from Guitar Fetish has a decent reputation: http://www.guitarfetish.com/GFS-Bass-Guita...ckups_c_97.html I've had quite a lot of stuff from Jay & I usually get it through in about 4 - 5 days. (and I have a nice Schaller 3D, including shim, in the drawer). G.
Have you tried these pick ups Geoff? Seem like a decent price, just wondered about the quality.
10. Like Jack said, finding the stuff is half the fun. That's exactly what I recently did with my P bass build. I was visiting this site and ebay a number of times each day. Got most of the bits on here, but had to resort to ebay for the neck. Just need a bit of patience and the time.
11. I found the simple p bass enough of a challenge to wire and solder, so hats off to you. Have you trimmed that filler piece off yet or been too busy with the wiring plan?
12. Thanks for that, I'm off to have a proper read through of their website
13. Like the look of that twin neck, although I'm sure it would be shoulder saggingly heavy for a wimp like me. Stray... there's a name I had forgotten. I went to see them a few times back when I was a youth. Are they still about?
14. It's also worth considering the balance of the bass not just the weight. My p bass deluxe is much more comfortable than my jazz and yet is the heavier of the two. Maybe something to do with the off set body shape of the jazz. You need to try a few and play them standing for more than just a few minutes.
15. That's coming on really well, another winner by the looks of it, nice work.
16. Really like the look, nice job.
17. This has been a splendid start to my day, viewing your impressive collection.
18. Yes I saw it earlier when I was searching, actually made me feel slightly uneasy.
19. Yes you are so right. My brother and I purchased this for a studio project, it was very costly although can't remember how much. Thanks for the bump. Maybe I will put it on EBay
