1. It's about time that I got around to shielding all the cavities on mine and my daughters VMJ basses. Can anyone recommend a product and supplier. I'm thinking of a brush applied product, rather than foil. Thanks in advance. Gary.
2. Well it's certainly a looker, but sorry don't know anything about that model. I'm guessing it's active? Like you I have P Bass Deluxe, so I suppose if I wanted just one additional alternative it probably wouldn't be another active bass. Ideally for me the alternative would be a decent Jazz, passive of course.
3. A pleasure to deal with. one of the good guys.
4. Just awful, so sorry. A mate of mine died yesterday. So a day of contemplation.
5. The last band I was with had very loud guitarists, keyboards and powerful drummer. I had to eq my amp very differently to my more normal settings. Mids are your friends .....
6. I think he is still with them. The late Gary Thain provided the bass on Easy Livin'
7. Very nice Wayne. What's the plan for this one then?
8.
Did several gigs before Christmas with a band who played Easy Livin'. Funnily enough, their whole set consisted of UH songs. They sounded pretty authentic to me. There was some geezer called Mick Box playing guitar.
So what are the Heep like these days then Steve? I did love that band back in the day and only just started listening again over the last few days.
9. Any of you older heads ever played Easy Livin', by Uriah Heep? I've always loved the track, but never had the opportunity to play it. At a band rehearsal the other night I suggested it, thinking that I would probably get mocked and ridiculed. Anyway they all loved it and we had a bash. I've almost got it, but there are some pretty speedy licks in there. Glad it's only a short one at two and a half minutes.
10. Just go for it and dig in, it will look so cool with blood dripping down the bass and you will be a hero! Jesting aside, I don't know, would using a pick be an option. Best of luck with it though. All the best Gary
11. Good man, chuffed for you.
12. Very nice. Let us know how it fared at rehearsal
13. Good luck, hope you get the gig. I'm involved in a new band project and last night we played a few Free numbers. Decided not to go for the obvious ones. One we tried was Travellin' in Style. It sounded brilliant, so simple, but so enjoyable.
14. Good to hear you are happy, long may it continue
15. I might have posted this up before, sorry it that's the case. Gary

17. I know it's frustrating. But nature didn't just single you out. It sucks, but there are worse things happening to an awful lot of people. Chin up. Hopefully it will be worth the wait and with all the anticipation you will enjoy it even more.
18. It was JPJ on Led Zepp 2 for me.
19. That's totally 'orrid.
20. Nice. Almost tempted away from my fender search. Woofly Tone
21. Sorry to hear you've got to sell Paul, best of luck. Gary
22. looking good wayne. You didn't give me the low down on the decal installation, no prob if its one of your trade secrets Love the look of the ash trays. Really looks the part.
23. brightened up mine as well, thanks.
24. They are cracking units. Sold mine about a year ago and still miss it. Though not missing the lifting of it. Think they are 300 watts when using an extension cab. I think I got around 300 quid for mine.
