1. Haven't listened to Can in many a year but they were regularly listened to back in my youth.
2. Sounds like a good piece of kit
3. Certainly one of the good guys and also extremely knowledgeable
4. This should have found a new home by now bump. It's a great case and not expensive.
5. The longest screws would be in the saddles that sit the highest, so as not too much is poking out to lacerate your hand Not really a problem, if it worries you, either cut/file it down a little or buyer replacements.
6. That does look messy, even if you cure the existing problem, to me it looks as though it has the potential to let you down. If you are not handy with a soldering iron, my suggestion would be to contact BC'er Kiogon and get him to supply you with one of his solderless looms. It will look lovely and of course, work perfectly.
7.
Those Muse blokes are quite handy. Did they ever amount to anything?
No, think they still knock about the Torquay pub scene.
8. Never seen one of those but what a cool looking rig
9. It's looking very authentic. Impressive work so far.
10. Happy to recommend and provide the first feedback for prowla. All good, contacted me, turned up on time and no quibble about paying. We enjoyed a good chat about all things bass (and guitar).
11. Bit hard to help from your description. It could be your technique or the instrument set up. First things first, get the instrument set up to suit your technique. Or borrow/try another bass and see if it sounds/feels the same.
12.
Congrats. CP 50s are very nice. Especially for clean sounds and light dirt. Mine was very (VERY!) noisy when not touching the strings until I painted the cavities with conductive paint. Very worth the effort.
I've not noticed a problem with that yet, although so far, I've only played it at neighbour friendly volume in my lounge.
13. Happy to recommend Paul. No messing about, contacted me, said he wanted the item and paid up immediately. A pleasure to deal with
14.
Looks good. Mint green would be bangin' on that finish too
I was thinking either that or parchment. Going to live with it, as is for a while though.
15.
Yeah, I saw the ad as its local to me. Also for sale is a Yamaha BB5000 at £2250! Anyone know who the seller is?
I was in negotiations with him last year over a different Wal, I didn't buy from him in the end. I know he has/had a whole load of Yamaha's for sale.

New Strat Day

Fender Mex 50's Classic Player. I'm impressed with the quality and very happy with the spec. Not generally a fan of white pick guards but I actually quite like it against the Shoreline Gold.
