1. No worries. It's not cheap but I've used it a few times now and was able to polish out scratches that I hadn't been able to remove with T cut or similar.
2. Karl, I've used this product and found it to be extremely good,

4.
Good call, some of the nicest playing basses I`ve played - why don`t I have one, wrong colour schemes. I really should just get one anyway as they are awesome players,
I tried one out at a local shop and have to say it felt lovely to play and did sound great but for me it just looked artificial, so it didn't get taken home.
5.
Problem solved then. Isn't freedom of choice wonderful?
6.
If only to cover the 5x£20 in ad fees! :-)
and a bump.
7. Another bump for my very fine gig bag and it's not much dosh An ideal Christmas present for yourself.........because you're worth it.
8. I would be inclined to not take too much notice of a Gearslutz discussion. There is an awful lot of nonsense spread about by a mass of so called experts. 70's Fenders usually come in for a total slating as being crap. Truth is, there were many, many good ones. I've got a 74 that is a joy to play. Of course you need to do your homework, try a few and make up your own mind. I haven't had any experience of 80's Fenders but I do have examples from the 60's, 70's and 90's and they are all excellent. I have a couple of Leo Fender 80's G&L's and they are exceptionally good instruments. I reckon they are a sound investment and at the moment are not commanding the prices of Fenders from the same era.
9. I think he was totally brilliant but I don't choose to listen to much of his work.
10. If that was the only damage, I think I would be inclined to repair/disguise it myself and accept a discount. You will have got yourself a seriously good bargain.
11. Thanks for the reminder Trevor, I meant to watch that but then forgot.
12. Love the look of his work and that looks stunning.
13. You're six months out on the date ole chap

Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 Amplifier. Brilliant and well regarded little amp, owned by me from new. I never thought that I would be moving this one on but for no good reason other than fancying a change, I’ve recently treated myself to another amp. This has been my main gigging amp but as can be seen in the photos, it is still in extremely good condition. Everything works as it should and there are no faults or issues. Apart from some little chips to the finish around the edge of the top panel and a very slight blemish to the bottom left front corner (visible in the photos), it looks as new. A powerful, compact little amp with a very versatile eq. The preamp is equipped with a 12AX7 valve, good for a bit of grind if that’s your thing. Capable of 600 watts and weighing in at just 3.75lbs. Supplied with mains cable and instruction manual. £365.00 collected from my place in Herts. Happy to bubble wrap, box it and courier, which will be £15. Bank Transfer or cash are my preferred methods of receiving payment.
16. We have a gig in a social club, new venue for us in Hatfield, Herts. 60+ numbers, so it will definitely be one of my lighter basses for that one. Dingwall or maybe one of the vintage Fenders
17. Someone will get a great instrument for not much dosh. Great basses to gig and with the added bonus of being light in weight and well balanced.
18.
On sale for over 5 years! Is this a record?
Perhaps it has now attained vintage status, I really ought to consider increasing the price.
