1. Love Free, one of the bands from that era that I still enjoy and still regularly listen to.
2. First bump.
3. You slag, should be ashamed of yourself
4. Happy to recommend Geoff. No messing about and he paid me immediately. A nice easy, friendly transaction, just the way it should be. Deal with confidence Bass Chatters.
5.
Just for the record, I still refer to tv programmes as series, not seasons. I think I'm ok ? Right ?
I'm not going to get drawn in to a conversation about Americanisms, well not this early in the day.
6. Enjoy your new rig Wonky but please never say "my bad" ever again. If I wasn't in such a fine mood you might have found yourself deleted.
7. Looking good.
8. No worries. It's not cheap but I've used it a few times now and was able to polish out scratches that I hadn't been able to remove with T cut or similar.
9. Karl, I've used this product and found it to be extremely good,

11. Here is a good one in Stevenage http://www.tjcguitars.com/
12.
Good call, some of the nicest playing basses I`ve played - why don`t I have one, wrong colour schemes. I really should just get one anyway as they are awesome players,
I tried one out at a local shop and have to say it felt lovely to play and did sound great but for me it just looked artificial, so it didn't get taken home.
13.
Problem solved then. Isn't freedom of choice wonderful?
14. Bumping for this fine little amp
15.
If only to cover the 5x£20 in ad fees! :-)
and a bump.
16. Another bump for my very fine gig bag and it's not much dosh An ideal Christmas present for yourself.........because you're worth it.
17. I would be inclined to not take too much notice of a Gearslutz discussion. There is an awful lot of nonsense spread about by a mass of so called experts. 70's Fenders usually come in for a total slating as being crap. Truth is, there were many, many good ones. I've got a 74 that is a joy to play. Of course you need to do your homework, try a few and make up your own mind. I haven't had any experience of 80's Fenders but I do have examples from the 60's, 70's and 90's and they are all excellent. I have a couple of Leo Fender 80's G&L's and they are exceptionally good instruments. I reckon they are a sound investment and at the moment are not commanding the prices of Fenders from the same era.
18. I think he was totally brilliant but I don't choose to listen to much of his work.
19. If that was the only damage, I think I would be inclined to repair/disguise it myself and accept a discount. You will have got yourself a seriously good bargain.
20. Thanks for the reminder Trevor, I meant to watch that but then forgot.
21. Love the look of his work and that looks stunning.
22. Good man Mr Apple
23. You're six months out on the date ole chap
