1. Another G&L bump
2.
This all seems like a good reason to rescind the rule preventing people replying to Wanted threads, it seems like the alternatives are not working. When this rule was introduced a review was promised by the site owners but I don't believe it has happened - happy to be corrected if it has.
But it is working and changing it would not alter the fact that some people just can't be bothered to reply.
3. I recently got a set of these, amazingly good. I've tried £200 sets that I didn't feel offered better sound. http://www.amazon.co.uk/August-EP650-Bluetooth-Headphones-Rechargeable/dp/B00IMKRQO8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1442251153&sr=8-4&keywords=august+headphones
4. Love Free, thanks for posting. Heard them described recently as Plod Rock Kos would have been 65 today.
5.
Very good Gary! But which one?
My anorak tendencies are not that finally honed I'm afraid
6.
Excuse my ignorance, but is that some form of Ibanez Dave is playing? If so, which one? D'oh! Question already asked!
Just had a look at another one of Fran's pics and can confirm it is an Ibanez.
7. Some great pics in there Fran. Was that one of Dave's Ibanez basses?
8. Bump .
9. Once you hit that first note (so long as it's the right one) the nerves will evaporate Enjoy.
10. RIP
11. yes it's still here and available
12. Congrats, have a splendid day, go buy some more gear.
13. Time for another
14. My experience of those Vintage P basses has been good, I feel that for the price they are a worthwhile purchase. with £500 to spend though, you should certainly be able to get something better, particularly second hand. I would be looking at the basses for sale forum here.
15. It's more collectible, which obviously equals more costly Is it worth it? Well it's not going to be twice as good but if you get a good 60's one, they are very special. My one gives me a very pleasurable feeling each and every time I open the case. So does my 75 though
16.
Brilliant basses, passive but powerful GLWS bump
Thanks Gareth. Yes very powerful, whenever I gig with other basses I have to turn my amp up so much more to achieve the same sort of volume and even then don't seem to get the same sort of oomph
17. Nice one Nick, that is a fine looking thing.
18. Don't know I'm afraid. Details might be on their spec page on the Dingwall site http://www.dingwallguitars.com/basses/bass-specifications/
19. Very lovely
20. Bumped again
21. Fishing Tackle shops sell some decent ones. I've got one produced by Fox, battery powered LED's and a good durable clip.
22.
Here is one of my gig rigs! Recently got the 2x12 to go with the 15" cab have had a few years! Great rig. I have had lots of different cabs amps over the years but always seem to go back to the EBS stuff. Still have my TD650. Incredibly clean gear. And it can go pretty dirty if needed! Sounds lovely with the V6! Will still keep changing things about! GAS is the problem ! Haha!
Impressive, you could unleash an avalanche in the valleys with that little lot.
