4. Hello and welcome. Don't be surprised if the GAS list rapidly expands
5. Saturday bump
6.
In the interests of going small and portable I have just put this together. Will take some better pictures when I can.
What a smart looking rig, love it.
7.
For my band it has more than paid for itself. We have had venues contact us through LEMONROCK and it has been good for finding new venues to approach. YMMV.
Same here
8.
I don't recollect ever finding myself often agreeing with Ian McNabb, but there has been some pretty vile stuff on Facebook tonight about the funeral of Cilla Black, and he posted what I thought was a good response. Shared here NB - language is a bit fruity!!!! : "Some of the posts I've seen on here that are hateful in the extreme from Scousers about Cilla Black on the day of her funeral have been shocking. Who cares if she was a Tory? It's a personal choice. Most people vote for their money. You don't know how you'd feel about that until you have it. Most lottery winners f*** off to the warmer climes and never return. Would you stay on Scotty Road if you had a million quid? I doubt it. Shameful of you really to say such things when the woman is dead. Paul O' Grady, a man who I have met and respect greatly would not suffer a fool or a **** and he was her friend for twenty years. I hope you don't have such nasty things written about you when you die. Peace and love, I x"
Got to agree with him. Shame that there was a need for him to post it though. There are some scuzzy gits inhabiting our planet.
9. Will look forward to hearing what you think, once installed.
10. and another bump. This will make a very impressive gigging bass for someone.
11. Nice one Rich. Have you still got the bass and have you managed to maintain the same level of hairiness?
12. Very handsome, have a bump.
13. Morning Mark and welcome. Plenty of Fender lovers on here, so show off some pics of your P bass. There are a few strange ladies and gents who don't like Fenders but help is available. Enjoy the site.
14. I think if I was in your situation, I wouldn't be much concerned about BC'ers opinions. If it upset me enough to feel I needed to sought other opinions, then I would be off. Hope you get it sorted.
15. Bumping again
16. Glad to hear you got it back, fixed and without too much outlay
17. Always useful to have, thanks.
18. That looks rather lush.
19.
trades?
Thanks but really looking to sell.
20. Welcome Trevor, pleased to meet you What a great collection of gear. You will probably find yourself adding to it, now that you've found Bass Chat.
21.
They are an excellent gigging bass. MFD is very powerful, body is a 'slimmer' P bass. Neck pocket is super tight. tuning stability is just amazing. Early models with the 'smooth headstock' are not common and will not be made again. What is not to like. No connection at all with Gary Mac other than I have owned an 88 SB1 (same as his other than the metal scratchplate) for 25 years.
concurred, thanks 3below
22. Doesn't sound like a bad deal. Can you get to try it prior to purchase?
23. Just had Obbm make me a five metre instrument cable, with right angle plug on one end and straight on the other. Brilliant quality and very rapid delivery.
24. Morning BassBunny. Just been to check and they are five pin.
