1. It's very difficult to describe sound Ash! I guess the best way to describe it is it doesn't colour the sound, it's crystal clear, punchy, loud. No doubt the Epifani website probably describes the sound a lot better than I can! Here: http://epifani.com/p...Funky_210BC.php I use an Epifani PS 400 head running at 4 ohms and two of these 8 ohms cabs to give me a 4x10 small stack. You can gig in pubs with one of these cabs, but I have bought two because I sometimes play much larger venues. It's very compact too and easy on your back! I normally use one cab for small venues and just one cab for rehearsals too. There are two guitarists and a drummer in a new band i'm currently rehearsing with and it cuts through easily. I hope this helps? This cab is now packed in it's box awaiting a new owner.
2.
Good Luck With The Sale
Thanks! PM replied to, this cab is still available.
3. I use passive, basically a Yamaha 1000w powered mixer and two Wharfedale passive speakers plus a Wharfedale powered monitor running from the front of the mixer. It works fine for pubs and clubs with more than enough power for a rock band. My mate uses Active speakers for his solo work and he swears by them.
4.
I have a Series 1 UL 2 x 10 which is fab......bump for a top quality cab at a great price, I paid far more than this for mine pre loved last year GLWTS
Thanks V2factoryman! Yes it's a great bit of kit, compact and loud. I use 2 of these, (I only need two because I occasionally play very large venues) although you can play pub gigs easily with one of these cabs. I was going to keep this and use it just for rehearsals as I only need one cab for that, but I have too much gear and not enough space so I have priced it to sell. I see you use a Ricky, a Fender Jazz and an Epifani Cab, I also used to have a Tecamp amp. Clearly a man after my own heart By the way, pardon my ignorance but what does GLWTS mean?
5. Hi. I am selling an Epifani Epifunky 210, 8ohm cab. I only bought this very recently, brand new from Italy. I already had two, but one had to have a slight repair. I couldn't wait because of impending gigs so I bought this one as a temporary replacement. I used it on just two gigs and two rehearsals so it is still like new. Now it is surplus to requirements. I paid 419.00 Euro (£361.56) for this including shipping. You can have this at a real bargain price of [s]£230.00[/s] £220.00 as I need the space. I have the box for it that it came in, so I will ship this for just £20 (UK only!) anywhere else I will find out for you, if needed although pick up would be much preferred. Picture of the cab here: Info here: http://epifani.com/p...Funky_210BC.php If you wish to collect, I live in Nottingham, about 5 minutes from junction 26 M1. Cab weight is about 17.5kg, Shipping weight is about 19kg. Cash on collection or bank transfer please. Cheers Tony.
6. I only ever use one bass live, however the new band i'm helping to form, and at the singer's request, it will probably be more convenient to take two basses, one set to standard tuning, and one to E flat.
7.
Probably Cliff Williams of AC/DC. Incredible discipline to play those lines and not want to branch out with a run or two, yet no, he hangs back , locks with the drums and lets the vocs and guitar do their thing. AC/DC may well have been a very different band without that approach.
That's a good point, and the same can be said for Ian Hill of Judas Priest as i've been learning his bass lines. His rock solid approach suits the band. There's plenty of underrated bass players, or guy's that fail to get mentioned. I'd like to put forward Peter "Mars" Cowling ex-Pat Travers band
8. You fellow Basschatter's may be able to shed some light on this for me. I've just been on the Ebay USA site and saw a bass that states the price, shipping cost and Ebay Global Shipping Programme (GSP). My question is, does that mean you pay in advance for the import duty/tax etc.... and therefore when the bass arrives in the UK you don't have anything else to pay? Or do the UK try to sting you as well? I'm just curious as i've not heard of this system. Has anybody had any experiences of this system and can shed some light on it? Is it good or a rip off? When i've bought stuff from the USA before, I would normally pay for the bass and shipping only, then collect the equipment and pay import duty and taxes on collection.
9. I had one identical to this, they are great basses. I would not mind one back but low on funds at the moment due to a new rig. Best of luck with the sale!
10. After reading all of the comments on here, from now on nobody is using my back-line in the future except my mate Dan (from Sack Sabbath)! that's "dbass" on here. I feel sorry for the guy who started this thread it's all rather unfortunate, but all you can do is replace the speaker, and put it down to experience really.
11. Hi just took delivery of my new cab today from Italy. Here is my new rig, I just need a second cab which i'll be ordering very soon. Here is my Epifani Performance Series 400 amp and Epifani Epifunky 210 cab. http://s935.photobucket.com/user/clarkpegasus4001/media/Epifani%20PS400%20amp%20and%20Epifunky%20210%20cab/EpifaniPS400andEpifunky210.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0
12. Good luck with the sale. The bass looks just like my 74 except mine has a black scratchplate.
13. I just bought a Epifani PS400 from Jo. He's a great guy to deal with. He's a good communicator and honest. Love the amp, thanks Jo!
14. You can trust Johannes! I just bought an Epifani bass amp from him. He's a top man to deal with guy's! Best of luck with the sale Jo!

17.
Year of birth bass for me and I'm a jazz bass man through and through. This looks in amazing condition for it's age. I would love to own this but unfortunately couldn't justify spending that much. I'm sure someone's gonna be a happy happy boy . . . .
Exactly the same here, and my birth year too. I'll have to stick with my 1974 Jazz. Best of luck with the sale......
18. I have just sold Mike my Elk amp. What a pleasure it was dealing with him. Thanks very much mate! Tony C.
