6.
The long intonation screws supposedly stopped being produced in 73 but they are really handy. If I could get hold of them I'd fit them to my Fender bridges.
I have one of those on my early 1974 Jazz bass, probably Fender using older parts which is typical as the pots are 73.. The Ebay listing looks correct to me.
 7.
Is it me or is this a really tricky little bass line? Big heads and egotists out tyhe back door please! Im finding the timing a whole new learning curve from the plodding bass lines i usually bang out. Great line to learn mind!
I just found this, I hope this helps? it's a bass line I want to learn as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqyA_uwdsJU
 8.
Budgie are awesome!! Hope the gigs go well!
Cheers Jase it's great that there's another fan of Budgie's music on here. We've only done two gigs so far this year but they both went very well. So i'm hoping that these two, at venues we've not played in before, will be equally as good. Cheers Tony C.
 9. I doubt i'll be keeping my rig, there's nothing wrong with it, it's as new, but the cab (although light) is a bit wide so I expect i'll downsize a bit.

 18.
"certainly better than some of the dodgy pre-EB, early 80s instruments with wonky necks".
Is that right? I had never heard that said about the Stingray before. and I had been toying with the idea of buying an early MM but that's quite worrying. MattM's 88 looks the biz!
