  1. Thanks for that, I'll pass it on to the band. G
  2. I'm retiring from my current band 'Soundhouse' in a few weeks and I'm helping them to find a replacement bass player. They are an established rock/indie covers band gigging approx once to three times a month with some great musicians and an established reputation in and around the Worthing area. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions. Facebook link here: https://m.facebook.com/SOUNDHOUSECOVERSBAND/ Thanks for looking Graham
  3. I'm interested! assuming it's all good condition what would you charge for courier (with insurance) Also is there a hard case with it? Cheers Graham
  4. Tempted. Just sold my rig on here so a little bit of cash floating around, and I'm near Hove. Oh Dear!
  5. No Problem Richard, good to meet you. Have fun with your new rig G
  6. Sold pending payment! I'll remove this post after the payment has been made. Thanks for looking everyone. Happy Christmas!
  7. Hi All You might have seen this rig on Basschat a couple of times before, I bought it off Molan via Phil at Bassgear about 3.5 years ago and it's given me faultless service and a magnificent sound. But it's time to try something new so I'd like to offer it for sale as a complete rig please (seems a shame to break it up as it looks so sexy together !) I'm asking just £1100. The rig comprises: 1 x Aguilar AG500 Amp + Aguilar padded cover 2 x Aguilar DB112T Cabs + Aguilar padded covers I've included a photo with one of my basses a size reference as I thought the rig was much bigger before I saw it in the flesh. It's a sensible size rig and easy to move around. I'm afraid there are a few marks on the cabs, some from previous owners and a couple from my time with the rig, I'll send other photos if anyone would like to see them but they are not drastic at all. I think this will have be collect only as I imagine it would prohibitively expensive to ship, although I can get some quotes from couriers if needed. I live near Brighton so I'm happy for anyone who's local to come and give it a try before you buy Feel free to ask any questions Cheers Graham See Photos:
  8. Bank holiday Bump I've been having some great email chats with Dave as I've been very tempted by this beauty. He sounds to me like a very genuine guy
  9. Thanks for the info everyone. I think I was getting confused as I used to own a 98 US deluxe which had the through body, hipshots, 22 frets, smaller body etc. I hadn't realised the MIM's were so different. Thanks again G
  10. Cheers Simon, it's up for £475 does that sound about right? Cheers Graham
  11. Cheers for the link Thats what I thought, but the body looks older, and if it is actually a deluxe from 2007 wouldn't it have through body bridge?
  12. Hi All, Apologies if this is the wrong part of the forum bit here goes. I saw a nice Fender MIM Jazz bass in a small guitar shop today but I can't work out how old it is so any help would be appreciated. Here’s a description: Olympic White body, looks aged Tortoise Shell scratch plate Noiseless pickups Standard bridge (i.e. not through body) Fender Deluxe electrics i.e. 4 knobs with plastic instructions template underneath, which is cracked and breaking up Rosewood 20 fret fingerboard with dot inlays Serial No on reverse of headstock: MZ7118219 Standard, unmarked tuners. i.e. not Hipshots, Schallers or any Fender logo. The serial number implies Mexican made in 2007 but the body looks older. so do you reckon is a hybrid? Cheers Graham
