OK, how about £250 for the combo and I'll come to Surbiton to get it? Also, you mentioned at the top of the thread you're looking for cabs with 10's, 12's or 15's? I could PX my Ashdown MAG 2x10 cab if you're interested? -

OK but in the photos Paul has uploaded it says 'MarkBass Combo Head' and the newer ones say 'MarkBass Little Mark II', is there any difference? Also Paul, are you there? Cheers Graham -

I'm quite interested in this (and I'm only 10 mins from Brighton) but this is an older one right? what's the differences between this and the newer ones with LMII in? apart from the new ones have more power I suppose? And what's your asking price now? Cheers Graham

We only dropped it cos we got bored with it, but we still play I Predict A Riot which is great fun to play, my favourite bass line of the whole set and we always use it as an encore. Still.................you can lead a horse to water etc...................................................................[/quote] Hi I've got a similar rig, MAG 1x15 Combo (with cover) + MAG 2x10 (no cover) and if I were thinking of selling I'd expect to put it up about the £300 mark like you, but you have the advantage of covers for both, if anyone is in doubt the covers are worth it to keep you gear in good condition. Is the Nemesis still for sale? I've never played through an Eden before, has anyone an idea of how it would compare with my current gear (Ashdown MAG 250 1x15 combo + MAG 2x10 ext cab). I find the MAG a bit too 'warm' sometimes. need a bit more grunt Of course if it's sold please ignore all above! Cheers Graham -
Cheers anyway. Looks like you have very modern set up with Laklands and Markbass. How does the 4-94 compare with the 44-02? from the blurb on the website it looks like the US built stuff is of superior build quality but is it worth the price difference? Cheers Graham -

Hi Just got back onto Basschat ( I was a bassworld member but seem to have lost my user name and account) Anyway, I've recently bought a old Ibanez pl5050, for £150. I needed a second bass cos I didn't like taking my '69 P bass out to much in case I lost it, but I seem to be using the Ibanez all the time now as it's really grunty (I aspire to get a Rickenbacker one day). Does anyone know the history of these basses? as I can't find much on the web (one Harmony Central review) I think it's late 80's and it has active pups, and a ebony board. Any info or trivia would be appreciated I'll put up a pic if anyone is interested Cheers Graham
