1. Bought from Shaker in July 12..Enjoyed every minute but now I'm struggling with 6 strings...Immensely playable - probably the best neck I've ever used...100% functional and in good nick other than the body - originally finished with wood dye [ guess] and as is the norm, has faded/worn..quite easy to refinish no doubt..Here's a link to the original thread, hope Shaker doesn't mind.......NOW TRADED.......................................................................................................................http://basschat.co.uk/topic/181676-sold-washburn-xb600-6-string-bass-with-duncan-stc-3-preamp/page__p__1739922__hl__washburn__fromsearch__1#entry1739922......................................................................................................................
2. Never thought I'd let this one go but I feel much more comfortable with frets nowadays!.. My bass of choice for around 10 yrs [for non-reading gigs that is]..Made in Taiwan and still functioning 100%.....[very well]defretted prior to my ownership ....18mm spacing at bridge..excellent player with low action and sings rather well...Nice growl from bridge pup & more than enough bottom end from the P-Type neck pup...A few light marks and a sizeable chip on the back by the strap button....Viewing welcome.....Postage £15....Looking for a Peavey Dynabass 5 80's USA and a Washburn XB925...Cheers..
3. Finished in black..quality pots..Exc condition....add £3 for post.....SOLD
4. Ex Warwick...exc condition..now £50 Post included..
5. This was my first serious fretless which I played for many a year [ see my profile pic]...I sold the neck and fitted a fretted one...Lightweight alder body, noiseless Schaller pups with 4 conductor wiring and adjustable pole pieces;[£100]..No name neck - plays well...
6. Thanks for the input guys..Decided to stick with 34" scale..
7.
From the pics it has a brass nut cut specifically for those gauges so could be modified but with quite a bit of faff ...and I believe he's from the Leamington Spa galaxy
.............Cheers! I should have asked 'Is this model recommended for E to C, B to G, or either'.
8. Hi..Is this specifically for E to C stringing? Which far-away Galaxy are you from?
9. Hey Stuart, thought this was a 'keeper'...just done a show with PP Arnold[remember her?] every one thought my Tribute sounded amazing - you'll regret it!..
10. Decided to withdraw until further notice. actually until I find the 5 string version..
11. Nothing!..just feels too darn heavy [not surprising really - I've had basses dangling from my shoulders for 38 years!!]
12. Sold me some strings....Good communication & quick delivery..
13. Gutted to have to sell this absolute monster, sadly it weighs 10 lbs not the 9 lbs as stated in the original post [that's bathroom scales for you!!]......Used for 5 gigs only,so still in superb condition...trade for non-Fender types, 5 string frets/no frets..Ideally I'd like a lighter ACG... Here's a link to original post, hope Basslowdown doesn't mind... .........
