Good condition. Used a couple of times when I did some gigs with 1x12" but now surplus to requirements. Some gunk underneath where I've removed Velcro from it but otherwise in perfect working order. Boxed with manual. I had the Cairns/Satterley Stingray that 's been around the block a few times. Owners I know of are cd_david (twice), funkydoug, wateroftyne, myself and it now currently resides with danlaw. A fantastic bass (a heavy bugger though!) which I would have kept if I hadn't gone over to 5 string full time.

Fender Precision Active Preamp Upgrade, Ideas?

How about an outboard pre? Something like a Sadowsky or Aguilar Tone Hammer would do the trick. -
A few suggestions. Chic, James Brown, Tower of Power, Herbie Hancock (Thrust, Head Hunters, Man-Child albums), Rufus/Chaka Khan, Curtis Mayfield, Brothers Johnson, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Emotions, Me'shell Ndegeocello. That should keep you busy for an hour or two.

What's the string spacing at the bridge please? How does this sound? I guess the EQ01 makes it very versatile but how does it fare at something like a modern Jazz sound?
