  1. Pair of Aguilar SL112 blue bossa limited edition with covers (one Aguilar one hotcovers) These things weigh in at a Featherlight 11.4kg each and what blew me away was how much low end extension there is for such a light cab Absolutely won't split No postage There's one little nick in the covering on one cab (pictured)but other than that they're immaculate I'm in crystal palace but I travel loads for gigs so try me for a motorway meet up or drop off I'm also selling a Mesa Boogie m-pulse 600 which matches very nicely with the blue light!
  2. Can a genzler Magellan run down to 2ohms, I know it has the 2.67ohm switch for running 3 8ohm cabs but I'm thinking bout getting one and I occasionally use 2 4ohm cabs would that work?
  3. How many ohms?

  5. Sorry just checking the cabs are definitely 4ohm each?

  10. Transposing will work for some stuff but rock tunes in E assuming you've got a 4 string will sound weak
  11. Yeah spiros weichs , pricey but a very good string
  12. Thanks for the tip off, next time I see one on a gig I'll be blasting out the birdie song mid tune
  13. I thought the med. helicores were a bit like spiro mittels , maybe a touch less tension , pretty bright string , zyex medium are a lot lower tension , possibly one of the lowest tension metal strings? I like zyex on one of my basses, they have some of the sustain of metal core strings but are a little bit thumpier and easier to get moving
  14. "What's all this about him being ill" It's only people speculating about why he has said all this stuff,I don't think he's ill personally .I think he's a loose cannon though ,that's some of the best scandalous gossip I've ever heard!
  15. I think it's possible his judgement is impaired by illness but I also think it's possible he just doesn't care , he's done it all , nothing to prove and slightly unaware of how stuff circulates in this digital age and I found it quite refreshing hearing someone talking that openly not to mention some of the best anecdotes I've ever heard . I say fairplay Quincy

Woofers have ceramic magnets with vented pole pieces and the low-end on this series of cabinets is full and round. The NV series have remained a favorite of finger style and pick players because of the tight-creamy low end found with these cabinets. The NV115 incorporates a 6” midrange mated to a custom phase-coherent crossover network that extends the range of the cabinet up to 6.5KhZ. Want a little more clarity and open sound, but don’t like tweeters? This is THE cabinet for you! Sounds great with tube amplifiers (pull out the V4B, Model T, Hiwatt, etc.) and this cab will make you smile. Vintage heaven! 17. Warwick streamer lx german made proper warwick set up and frets levelled by Jonathan Law at Feline guitars, this bass plays and sounds great( slimmer neck profile than some warwicks), really resonant and even across the range really good condition luminlay fret markers very well fitted and they're actually more useful than I expected on a dark stage gig bag I'm in crystal palace but I travel a lot for gigs so give me a shout about a services meet up no postage or trades ( except a JV p bass or mesa walkabout) I've attached a promo vid for my wedding band with the bass on , I'm afraid it's only the last bit that doesn't have an OC2 on it
  18. I rarely see genzler magellan's for sale on here, is that cos they're brilliant? I had a shuttle , loved it , had a streamliner, really didn't like it. Any magellan users out there, what you saying ?
  19. Maruszczyk Jake P/JJ 33inch scale, chambered body ,hipshot ultralite tuners , hipshot bridge Really good condition, looks like it hasn't really been played , no dings or marks This one has got the haussel pickups, now I know this stuff is very subjective but I'd say the haussel P has a woody vintage detailed sound to it, I tried maruszcyzks with the other pickups and I thought the delanos were way more modern and beefy and the maruszcyck ones were somewhere in between. The JJ at the bridge has a got quite a modern beefy rasp to it making this bass really versatile from old school 60s P to tight funky punch This bass is really light ( sorry my scales have run out of battery,I'll get a weight asap) and really well balanced with the hipshot tuners , Maruszczyk gig bag included No trades( apart from a mesa walkabout) , collection only , I'm near Crystal Palace, come and have a play on it and a cuppa
