I didn't realise that I was being a rule breaker! ATK 400's are getting hard to find and to value ....... after some research ...... I reckon I would want £350 to part with it, but am more interested in trades.
Excellent basses, I have two an ATK300 and ATK400 The ATK400 is slightly more versatile, having two active pick ups, 1 triple coil and 1 single and loads of tonal variety to be had with the 3 band EQ and selector switch I swear by my two ! You would NOT be disappointed with one of these.
It's the same as the one in your picture Adee......damn, you're making me doubt myself......do I really want to let this bass go.......maybe I should gig it on Sat!

8. I am thinking of trading my Ibanez ATK 400 in trans blue, as I don't use it any more.......and I'd like to try something different without spending loads of money! I had overpriced it before, so Price Drop: Now for sale for £300, excluding P&P SOLD Maple neck and fingerboard, Mahogany body translucent blue finish, J/MM configuration pups, through-body or bridge stringing option, 3 band active EQ, five bolt neck joint. It is in good condition, with a few insignificant marks Nothing major, or noticeable. As for trades, I am thinking of (in order of preference and can add cash your way if needed) a Sterling by Musicman SB 14 or a Ray 34, or a P-Bass of some sort, CIJ, MIM, or even a good Squier (Vintage Vibe/Modified). May also consider similar Jazz basses or even a MM Stingray (with money to you). Ok .........just throwing it out there ............any offers?
9. How about an exchange for an Ibanez ATK 400 in the trans blueburst colour?
10. Photos would be great!
11. Is this still for sale?
12. Nostalgia Bump!
13. I bought a G&L TRIBUTE L-2000 and it was a revelation to me. I then started thinking how much better the "real deal" handmade USA one must be. I obcessed about it until I finally saved-up and bought one. Maybe it was the different wood or just a bad day in the Californian factory, but I actually much preferred the tribute. I even did "blind" tests on them and the Tribute came top for feel and sound (in my opinion). I sold the USA bass and bought another Tribute. I won't make that mistake again. If it looks cool, feels and sounds good, it doesn't matter how much it cost (although the Tributes are £700ish!)
14. Bought EBS Multicomp form AJ. Postage freakishly quick. All straight-forward and easy Top Man
15. Bump for Price Reduction!!

18. So ... this is my feedback ...
19.
Up for sale my favourite bargain do-anything bass. Japanese made. Serial number makes it a 1985 model. Has a powerful active EQ that can turn it into a real thunderer down low! All working, in nice condition with the odd nick and scratch. Nothing major for a bass of this age. All original as far as I can tell. Fitted with brand new batteries! Can be picked up in London for £120 or will ship at cost. Got a bass-shaped box here waiting for it. Sorry abut the pictures (especially the reflections) - hard to get a decent photo of something so black!
Blimey! I had one of these when they first came out in 80's around about the time I was wearing make-up and playing in a "New Romantic" band and was the same age as my daughter is now! Enough sickly nostalgia! They are great basses, with a good range of tones from the active EQ. I loved it at the time, as I never had to go back to my amp to get a different sound. Great for slapping too! I have way too many guitars at the moment, or I would buy it. A brilliant retro 80's instrument at a brilliant price! Good luck with the sale! Gavin
20. How about a Demeter Compulator (Comp-1)?
21. PM'd about MultiComp
22.
Thanks for the offer Gavin, very tempted, but ideally looking for a sale.
No Worries. I should really sell, rather than swap, too!
