Does anyone have tab or a transcription for the bassline to I'm Outta Love, by Anastacia? I think it's a synth bass line.

OK all you JBJ lovers, time for a quick straw poll. If you were looking for a Bon Jovi number to cover, would Sleep When I'm Dead be on the list? Someone in the band suggested we have a crack at it, but I think it's one of the more obscure songs and less likely to get a reaction from non-JBJ fans than some of the more well known songs.

If I was gonna spend a reasonably large sum of money for something thats going to last me for a number of years, the last think I'd do is offer to share it with a bunch of people I didn't know. By all means upgrade your stuff but hang onto the Laney precisely for jobs like this. If the other bands hear 'yes there's backline but it's a POS 165W Laney' they might be more inclined to offer to bring their own gear!

AFAIK BB800 and BB1000 were made in Japan between 1977 and 1981, and I thought that they were then discontinued. Could be wrong about that.

It looks to me to be the twin brother of BassBunny's 405. I guess you didn't find the 'Obscure Musical Backwaters' thread, which has photos and other interesting details. I wish the mods would re-sticky the thread, but obviously they've stopped listening to my pleas (despite it being the most informative Bass Collection resource on the entire Internet, and something that continues to attract visitors to Basschat). But I'm not bitter. Value's a tough one. Everything is on the floor at the moment, but I'd hope it would be worth £250 on a good day.

There are exceptions but I cant name one at the moment. I have an EBS which I bought second-hand on this forum. I think a 2x12 will give a better sound than a pair of 1x12s - the drivers seem to work better in a bigger box. The other factor in all of this is your budget, of course!

For less than the price of either one of those Roland Combos with 4x5" drivers. Why on earth do you need a 300W cab for bedroom playing? 100W is plenty, just back the gain off!
