I can't play any faster this way but the timing between the notes is more consistent. A great exercise I've found is the Flea version of the 'I Feel Love' bassline. It depends what the finish of the bass that you're trying to polish is. All the above recommendations assume that you're trying to polish a cellulose finish - actually there's no need to spend serious money on megiuars because t-cut is just as good - my hand-made cellulose finish bouzouki was cleaned up with t-cut and it looks just fine, 30 years later. I don't think it's gonna work on a Warwick!

I thought Jay Z sucked watermelons through elephants and the only redeeming feature of his entire set was the backing singer in the first song, wow was she hot!! Too bad Dizzee Rascal hired Guthrie Gowan. I enjoyed Stornoway, they have a singer who can actually sing on key unlike most indie bands and they are very young, they will improve. Don't get Norma Jones though, and I dont' know what her bassist was trying to prove. Fortunately I missed Sting - growing the beard is relatively easy but matching Martyn's awesome talent is going to present a considerable challenge. As for Foos, what can you say. Consumate ease, particularly Times Like These. I may be guilty of forgetting what they're capable of, though I too would have preferred to see fewer session musicians. I thought they were a class above everything else I've seen in this series with the exception of Gladys Knight.

I'd like to try it with a Barefaced Midget at some point, but in the meantime I think my VL110 will work well as an extension cabinet.

Ask the purchaser to get on a Eurostar and meet him in London. Safest all round. I once collected two underwater scooters from a bloke in Belgium and a trip across on the ferry turned out to be the best way. +1 for being careful with choice of courier if you do decide to post it. Many have insurance limits for musical instruments in the small print - there's a thread about this somewhere.
