If you're just looking for something cheap and cheerful, the Artecs are OK - I've put a couple of the 4-pot versions of these into Bass Collections. https://www.thomann.de/gb/artec_se3_basselektronik.htm and there is also a version called the SE3P which has a sweepable mid boost/cut. If you want to spend a bit more, Nordstrand and Glockenklang would be good choices.

Blartfactor10 you are a genius. I've just made up a set of these and it works perfectly. I found with a sharp modelling/craft knife I could just stick the tape onto the foam and cut the outline through the foam and the masking tape at the same time. Stops the tape sticking to itself and me 🙂.

I would say based on the translucent finish and gold hardware that it's an SB325. 5 strings are normally JJ. Well done.

Yamaha THR10 works pretty well with bass as well a guitar - worth a try to see if it suits you.

My ancient EA cabs have a pull-out handle on the bottom which achieves a similar effect.
