Can anyone point me to a circuit for a dual channel high impedance preamp with a gain control on at least one channel? I am looking for something to blend a double bass bridge and fingerboard piezoelectric pickups, without spending K&K Sound amounts.

Having been through a similar process, I would recommend a LS2.

I don't think it will do simultaneous output to two amps. It can switch between one or the other.

I think Al Gare is still playing in Imelda's regular band. Darrell Higham left when they split up though. I'll let you know after the gig in May.

Postscript to this - I went into the Box Office yesterday to pick up the tickets. I said to the woman at the desk "I've come to pick up some tickets for a concert in the Corn Exchange"
She looked me up and down, then said "would that be for Gilbert O'Sullivan?"
How humiliating!

I've found my Snark pedal copes with the low B better than any other tuner I've tried (and I've tried most of them).

My Snark clipon is worse than useless with a low B. TC Polytune clip is much better. Korg DT10 is great too, although it takes up a lot of space.
Gents,
Need to find a clueful amp technician in the London area, to service and re-bias a Fender Princeton and fix the problems with the reverb (probably also a valve replacement).
Any recommendations?

The single cut 5 string sound gear won that round - a great bass.

I tried one of those too, in Wunjos. As you say a great bass with a huge range of sounds and very good build quality. Can't believe they can make it at the price. If only they'd done a fan-fretted version ...

If any of you are lucky enough to be at this gig, I'm going to have to kill you :-)
Pete
I have an FC300 which can be used to control a lot of the functions of the gr55 and can probably be set up to trigger various othrr things. Have a look at Google, there are quite a few articles. If it looks interesting let me know and we will work something out that will allow you to try it out.

I have a set of EJ38H Daddario Phos Bronze in Nashville gauges, brand new and unopened. Please pm me if that's of interest.

This. I can't think of many proggers back in the day who used Fenders bar John Paul Jones and occasionally Geezer.

Roger Waters. Greg Lake.

the chap Ive just spoken to at GAK reckons you shouldn't do that because the line out is an amplified signal.
[/quote]
He's kind-of right. The Line Out signal is at a line-level voltage, and I think you might do better to put it into the Ashdown Effects Loop return.
I'll add my voice to the 'quieten down the drummer and buy another 2x10' crowd.
