    After getting a set of Dimarzio Model J's :wub:, these arnt needed anymore. There were originally from a Warwick Corvette, theres abit of wear on them, but they work fine, plenty of wire left aswell.     Id recommend trying a different set of strings. If it was just amplified it could be the pick up poles are too high/low, choking the sound.
