Hey dude. How well does the neck sit into the body? Will it need any mods to get it rolling?
The neck fits the body fine, its a tight fit. To get the whole bass going? That wouldnt require very much, just some soldering skills. -

Ive been meaning to do this up for a while now, but i barely get time to play bass let alone build one Standard fender style bridges, one with screws and the other i should be able to find some for. £5posted Marlin Sidewinder pickup set, A P and a humbucker. Dont see many of these for sale, they came from my sidewinder, i replaced them with just an american delux humbucker. They worked fine when they were in my bass, they are pretty old so show some wear and tear, and the p-bass one has some rust on the poles. The output for each pickup is 19 Ohms? £5 a peice posted bank transfere prefered. Thanks -

Recently aquired one. Heres the original thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=68421 It was abit weird ordering via Email. Bogdan is a man of few words. But he gets the job done fast and well!.

I like the sound of the pedal too.
Cheers Dood! Might just do that! Im about to record some clips of a modded DS-1 SilentFly nicely sorted for me. Might up them too.
Your time has come - Audioslave I am the highway - Audioslave
Very opposite tracks but both great to play.

Doing it by hand will take forever and you might not end up with a very flat surface. Dont have any mates that are woodworkers? Sounds like alot of work. Any pics of the veneers? I was thinking about making a scratchplate out of one.

Try finding a set of jazz pups that are split coil (DiMarzio Model J's), they have a more P-tone.

Im still trying to forget it! Infact im not sure whether it was at the Star in Ashford or the 3 Squirrels on Detling Hill, either way i was about 15, had been playing for about 3 months and bodged my way through (most likely) Basket Case - Green Day, Teenage Kicks - Undertones and Smells like Teen Spirit, since they were our only tracks for ages.
My first gig was a covers band in a nightclub. I got smashed on guinness and passed out on a sofa, ended up covered in coats and the rest of the band were going mad trying to find me before our stage slot
hahahah nice!

Just made some soundclips, not the most professional of recordings Bronco (only bass i have with rounds, which most use) > Bogdan > PC Mic in > Recordpad. Hard Clip = HC, Soft Clip = SC.
Hah sorry, HNPD = Happy New Pedal Day. Its a GAS term along with HNBD (bass) etc. £54 posted? Very reasonable!
Haha dammmmn im surprised i didnt know that one, get plenty of the stuff. Well i was going to buy a second hand one from the states, but after looking into it, it would be cheaper for me to buy new. Only took 3-4 days to be built and sent. Still have the octave?
Cool, HNPD! Sounds clips would be cool, how much did it set you back, all told?
HNPD? Ill try and post some tomorrow. It was about £54 posted.

This arrived in the post today Ive had 5 mins to play around with it and another 5 mins to post this reply before work: Its not as aggressive as the PL, the controls are Gain, Volume, Blend and Hard/Soft Clip switch. Very nicely put together. Might record some clips when i get back tonight, but the lack of sound card might make it sound crap.

I could only find this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RED-JAZZ-BASS-ProBas...=item2c51ccbe9a The series/parrallel switch is a nice addition.

Not one of the unlucky ones working outside are you? Im in Marden which is about 10 miles south of Maidstone, but i was born and raised in an area of Maidstone called Tovil. If Wayne gigs again in the area, id reccomend going to see him!
