A Stingray for half the price, no doubt about it. It's true, these basses were cannibalising the sales of Stingrays so they were dropped by Musicman. One in this condition is a rare find indeed. GLWS /M

These are very close to the sound of a StingRay, sorry as hell I sold mine. These basses punch well above their weight, an amazing bass for the price. Can equal a bass for 3 times/ 4 times the price no sweat/ /M

I used one of these with a double bass and wow what a true sound it gives. Incredibly light weight and can go right down to 2 ohms too. There are 3 ways to EQ, 1) the countour, 2) the parametric EQ section and 3) the graphic equaliser. I've always been able to get the right sound. These are one of Carvins best kept secrets, great price too. A truely great amp, I'm seriously tempted (Sorry as hell I sold mine)

It does look very like a stingray, no doubt. Does it sound like one though ? How's it for slap bass ?

I use one of these stacked with a Compact all the time. Amazing cab, it'll take anything you throw at it. Very well designed too for moving about, Alex knows his stuff

I use this amp all the time, so versatile and extremely light weight. It comes into it's own for the 2 x 4 ohm power amps, very handy if you've got stacks of cabs. I use it to run a Barefaced Super 12 T (4ohm) stacked with a Barefaced Compact (8 ohms), Huge sound, a lot of amps just accommodate a 4 ohm load. You'll have no problem selling this, GLWS. /M

Can you tell me something about the neck, I guess it's 1 3/4" at the nut but is it a C profile or U profile ? Many thanks
