3.
If the chrome one will fit my Squier P Bass Special, I'd swap it for a Boss OC-3 octave pedal
if the oc-3 is in excellent condition and working fine, then we can have a trade. so please check if the xtender fits your squier. got any pix?

 7.
And to quote the singer in one of my bands, all the bass does is go boom in a corner.
does it not?
 8. I own the Roland R-05 and can't say anything bad about it. great usability, great sound quality, doesn't eat batteries and is well built. would buy again.
 9. started with bass in '82. after 1/2 a year changed to guitar until 2005, then picked also the bass up again. with it I got the first pro jobs. since then both my guitar- and bassplaying improved a lot. the more I know the less I can but enjoy every tone even better.
 10.
I'm looking for one at the moment to hold two long scale basses. Reunion blues one I bought was too short to fit my bass so i sent it back and now looking at a Harvest, leather or leather and canvas gig bag. Has anyone got any experience with these bags. http://www.harvest-guitar.com/en/Bass-Bags-For-Two/ Jazzyvee
Hi I own a black canvas doublebag. it is very well made, the padding is super. very comfortable and balanced to carry on your back. the bad points are it is not very light, the two outer pockets should be bigger and it's expensive. definately a quality product and if I'd have to replace it I'd buy it again (used) .
 11.
Love that big red Guild semi, don't think I've seen one of them before. Did you build the amp yourself?
thanks mike, actually it is a great dark orange 2000 Guild X-170T, might be for sale though *sigh*: the amp is a highend 50's 5w champ clone, built for me by a friend from newzealand last year. a small super dynamic sound monster. cheers!
 12. forget the pilot on the floor: and for rehearsal/recording the rig on the right:
 13.
Superb! I liked the Warwick Star Bass best.
+1. good that I have my starfire.

 15. monday morning bump. found a chrome one, so the trade options have changed, see OP.
 16. I like the design of your site, but unfortunately it is difficult to read and bad for the eyes. btw, haven't heard back from the guys yet. cheers
 17.
There blooming well is a need. If everyone took that patronising, "I'm better than you and I'm not going to tell you how" attitude then we wouldn't have any teachers, no education system and a bunch of people running around in loin cloths, communicating in grunts. It really irritates me how some people think it's funny to appear to be better by making others feel small. Also, isn't sharing knowledge a crucial point of having a forum in the first place? However, I have made my point and now I apologise for the sarcastic way in which it was initially presented. I hope my further explanation goes some way to explaining my position.
I didn't read in chris_b's posting that he was patronising. there is no patronising, it is a simple fact. please read again without the "hate"-specs. there is no "need" for investing more than £1000,-. but if you want more quality, you can buy it. simple fact. if one asks about the difference, then one simply doesn't know about it. apology much appreciated.
 18.
Raised an eyebrow at this - a bit on the patronising side, don't you think? Back at you - please, o wise one, educate us. Please enrich us with the benefit of your extensive knowledge and help us rise above the level of simple luddite!
no need to become sarcastic. usually you get what you pay for.
 19. congrats, but:
I agree sounds ace but starts to get a bit much after a while. It sounds like a P bass and a Ric had a baby.
+1. the treble in the bass sound gets a bit annoying after 30seconds.
 20. this: and it's more than £1500,- but worth every penny.
 21.
... I find it odd and very annoying that some people seem to be oblivious to the welfare of my gear. I'm sure I'm not alone.
you are not.
