15. and I believe not even 1 guitarplayer wanted to join a bassplayers forum without force.
 16. I have a Guild X-170T with a soundpost. These are usually mounted under the bridge for a) better structural integrity and more important b) to reduce feedback resulting from vibrations of the top and bottom. you will often find soundposts in electrical archtop guitars.
 17. some people here are really disrespectful. where is the problem of having 1 subsection for the guitar related topics for basschatters only? I think it would be nice to find all these posts under one category. also all you bassterds don't have to fiddle with it inbetween your bass-only topics! but some peoples position seems to be the of the not good enough guitarplayer that became a bassist.
 18.
... I would like the BC team to create a discrete Guitarchat forum moderated in the way this is. BC seems to me to be 'in service' to bass and most of its prolific members appear to espouse a similar attitude, that its the bass and this forum is what's important....
+1, since I'm also a guitarplayer, but don't like guitar forums at all. maybe here a secret chamber for members would be cool. ... well not all forums, I like only the one I'm a moderator in. it is brand related, but not connected to the brand owner: lets talk guild
 19.
... But I could definitely hear a difference between his warm vintage guitars and his bright modern guitars....
aside different types of construction, did they have equally fresh and the same strings?

 22.
Hello fellow Basschatters! I have £600 to purchase some new gear with. I would like a Boss RC-3 (with power supply and a few jacks) which leaves me with roughly £400. ( I only have one bass at the moment. A Hohner Arbor precision bass. Question! Should I spend more of the money on a bass and purchase the pedal at a later date? Question!! If so which bass should I get? Help a learning bass player on his way! 4 strings and fretted maple necks/fingerboards are a favourite but if you have any suggestions please let me know!
1. buy everything used, save the money and watch where the looper takes you. 2. if you see, ask again. merry christmas.
 23. they are completely different beasts. i.e. one short scale the other long scale. the QC is really bad on the epiphones. so play before buying it. I'd recomment a höfner verythin. these are great (if you don't have a guild starfire, of course. )
