Anyone going to watch it?

I found a small, shorter bolt I could drop down inside the insert. Then screw the original bolt from the 3-point into the insert. Once it makes contact with the bolt inside, keep turning and it should start to lever the insert out enough that you can pull it the rest of the way. Need to use a big bladed, preferably long handled screw driver, so you don't wreck the head of the 3-point bolt.

15 year old guitarist ? Now new band member !
I played in a band with a very young-looking 21 year old who wore round glasses. Me and the singer were in our 50s and pretty rough looking...we got a review saying it looked like the Stooges had kidnapped Harry Potter.
-
Is there any other sort? As an aside, I read the book 'Escaping the Delta' and according to the auther, Mr Johnson plagiarised his contempories Just saying like.......................
Did you get to the end of that book? I found it very hard going. In a simple twist of fate, the point of "escaping the delta" is that blues as slave work songs was a pure invention of folkies like Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, who of course tried to pull the plug on Dylan at Newport, and may well be the ones that called him Judas.

A while ago I saw a band, which was two vintage gentlemen and a 17 year old drummer. The bass player made several jokes between songs about having groomed the drummer on the Internet. I recommend not copying that. -

Someone missed a trick here. Obviously she can't afford musicians because she's getting no money from CDs due to file sharing. -
I think somebody once said something like "Wear what your audience is wearing, but ramp it up by 10% or more". As Bilbo said, there comes a time in one's life when suiting up is the sensible thing to do. This was confirmed to me when reading a magazine article about Robert Cray, where the illustrations showed him in both formal and informal modes. I know which looks more convincing to me:
In picture 1 he looks something like a musician. Pic 2 reminds me of .... That is what you meant, isn't it?

What are you listening to right now?

Not that I need to know, but it's interesting to see what the guitarist will be wrestling with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hexMs1VuwMY -

US music file-sharer must pay nearly half a mill damages!
spinynorman replied to xilddx's topic in General Discussion
At least 150 Euros is a more reasonable fine. In the US it would be more like 150K $. Rihanna in that photo looks like a shop dummy to me. -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-19586129 Could be worse, he could be in a tribute band.

The common factor does indeed seem to be the use of bit torrents, (i.e. the subsequent sharing of any illegally downloaded material) and the US courts. Good luck in your thesis mate!
That case has been going for years, another one that's just been left to run. Or in this case extended either by a very obstinate defendent or over optimistic lawyers. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/11/04/jammie_thomas_third_time_unlucky/ -

Just listening to Led Zep's Expatriate Song -
Interparcel, if you use them once and set up an account there's a 5% discount when you go back. The UPS option is called Interparcel Economy. There's also Standard, but it's always been delivered next day for UK deliveries on Economy. The UPS driver has been so often he noticed the new carpet in the hall.
His surname was Watten. He changed it to xgsjx to confuse the british! I think living in Scotland has taken away my simplistic Outlook. The IT bod's just been over & installed a load of rubbish on my Outlook Toolbar.
Fortunately most of our IT Bods are in India now, but even the ones that aren't don't get anywhere near my laptop, unless they come armed with tasers. Ex Pat. The most mis-attributed song on the internet?
The copyright to Hey Joe was registered in the US in 1962 with composer Billy Roberts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Joe
That hasn't stopped Tim Rose claiming he got it from an Appalachian goat herd. -
But whats a 'long term brummie' ? You either are or you aint surely..
Fair point. I'm a southerner by birth, but have lived and worked in and around Brum since my first job in 1973, so I almost feel like I belong.I feel it's under-appreciated by the rest of the country, for lots of things beyond music. Even in music, there's not only the pop/rock heritage, there's also one of the finest symphony orchestras in the country and one of the best concert halls in the world.

The most mis-attributed song on the internet?
spinynorman replied to spinynorman's topic in General Discussion
I suppose the classic is Hey Joe, claimed by Tim Rose and half a dozen other people, none of whom seem to be able to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt. -
Just found these on Youtube, not had that many views. Interesting what came out of Brum and a bit nostalgic, I expect, if you're a long-term brummie. Part 1 of 7 as a taster. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGUTt4OWL_k&feature=plcp

I did hope it was getting a bit better, but maybe not. I couldn't believe the "Girl Like You" Ray Davies association, same title but obviously completely different song.
