I no longer go to church but was involved in worship bands and did a stint with Good News Crusade as they travelled the country and played their family camps for years. Did street work along side Church of God of Prophesy (Gloucester)which had some kicking players. Kevin Prosch and his band were a major influence on me..very spirit led improv stuff. I was also involved with a project at Glenwood church in Cardiff encourageing Christian muso's to 'step outside the box' and allow the free creative stuff to happen. I appreciate that at that price parts would be cheap and cheerful but it would make a good basis for modding at that price. I cant find any link to its origin either, seller is German/European ?( Item location Bohmenkurch Germany)

While cruising evilbay i came across a 'Fenderbird' lookalike made by Infinity. Thunderbird shape body with bolt on maple neck..cheap as chips. Anyone here know more about these ? Apologies if this has been covered before, i had a look but could find no previous reference.

I have been trying for some time now to track down just how Felix got that (for want of better words) gritty distortion from his EB1. I know he had Sunn amps but saw a mention somewhere that he had his bass modified in some way. Does anyone here have the answer? I would also like to know who else ,other than Epiphone, did a copy of the EB1.

Dont bother badassing ive done it and not noticed an appreciable difference. Dimarzio split humbucker..passive and kicks ass big style.

Yep long scale with slotted headstock. Mine was 'tobacco' colour, played like a dream and sounded the bollox. So so wish id never got rid.

Has anyone seen one of these or played one ? I rather like the look of it, sorry cant upload pic.
