  10. I owned a Fender Bassman 135 back in the 70's and its a top quality piece of kit. I have to agree that these prices are a bit steep . Im thinking Traynor YBA 200 at a fraction of the price.

I've just had a pm off a guy who builds valve amps who may be able to bring one to demo, I shall have my SVT rig, if I havnt got my barefaced/GB rig by then. Along with atleast my T-40, SB and jazz. What else can people muster? I'm gonna get in touch with a local luthier and possibly a teacher to run a workshop or 2, I'll try to source a drummer and a guitard to jam with too [/quote] How about asking Burke Shelley to bring along his old Precision...yum

  22. I have a friend who makes custom guitars and valve amplifiers. Until now it has been a hobby really. He sent me pics on facebook of some of his creations and I think you all may be impressed. He wants to stay relatively low key and is in the middle of creating a website. He has said that if anyone would like to know more they make communicate via facebook for pics etc until his site is up and running. He has currently just completed a 100 watt valve amp with a mesa pre amp and it looks the nadgers. His name is Rob Dix. Why not have a look. You can ask him directly all about the tec /spec etc.
  23. Absolutely gutted..he was inspiring !
