2.
so fanally used it for a few shows now whilst depping for a friends band. so loud and punchy with my EMG loaded P bass.
Told ya !! Aint it the bollox ! What cab are you using with it ?
 3. I really really want (are you listening Santa) a Wal fretless 5 string..Ive been a good boy (honest)
 4. Shame you dont live in Weston....you need a Ninja cleaner ! I do part time cleaning work and one of my jobs is the Emarty music academy...loadsa rooms and you would be amazed at the ammount of chocolate bar wrappers and beer bottles I shift. The worst one is broken strings that get trodden into the carpet that you dont see in the semi darkness....and whats with the inevitable pile of wood shavings that I find where the drummer sits !! The owners have a puppy now so I find doggy chews everywhere and the occaisional slipper !!
 5. Cliff is awesome Saffron Monkey rock !! Check out Ritchie (bass monster) Blake.
 6. I have a MIM P bass special (active) and I find the bridge pickup a bit weak. Im seriously considering going passive with Dimarzio P humbucker and Ultra Jazz pickups. I love the maple jazz neck though.
 7. When I look back over 46 years of playing Im really thankful for every opportunity/gig Ive done. To be still here and doing it at 57 is a great moment for me. 4000 seaters, playing a gig at the Colston hall where Ive seen all my heroes, curtain calls at a gig where members of the royal ballet danced to our music, sharing a dressing room with Norman watt roy while supporting Wilko (he actually used my rig)...wow the list is endless ! Bike shows, Harley bashes, watching my son (a drummer) supporting Eric Clapton at two benefit gigs...it all seems like a dream.
 8. The tone of that Pedulla makes me want one....drool.
 9. Ive just been watching Percy Jones bass exploration on youtube. It appears that he is playing an Ibanez through a Hartke rig and I think the tone he's getting is brilliant. Its pretty near an upright sound (to my ears anyway) does anyone on here know much about his gear i.e. whether he has modded the Ibanez or maybe using a different pre amp. Also I believe he's using flats. Can anyone shed some light.
 10. It would have to be Peter Gabriel

 17.
Price dropped to £500 or nearest offer for quick sale (theres an amp on here i'm after) Also will consider trades. I'm after the 'vintage' valve sound and therefore am after valve amps (heads only)
Have a big old Friday bump from sunny Weston.
 18.
Really wish i had the cash for the superbass:- will any luck i can sell of my current amp in time: Either way good luck with the sale; all the 'vintage' marshalls ive ever played on are so cool.
Thanks mate what amp are you currently selling?
 19.
Thanks Si Im gonna sit on them both and watch them appreciate in value. It go's without saying Basschatters have first dibs, if you ever have need give me a pm. All the best. Steve
Ressurection bump
 20.
Oooh. Damn tempting. Damn tempting indeed. I think in reality I have enough 100w> valve amps at the moment. Doesn't stop me thinking about it though.. To be honest though any trade is gonna need to have some cash on top as I'm in desperate need of some money at the moment. And you're only over in WSM too!
Well sir if its any comfort Im in need of dosh too but that bass is well tempting. I just cant bring myself to put the boys on the bay. Have a think and as you say Im just next door should you want a look I can bring them up to you. Fraid Im strapped for extra cash though. All the very best. Steve
 21. How about my two vintage Marshall JCM800 heads. Superlead and Superbass Mk2's ? You can see them 'For sale or trade' on (I think page 4 ).
 22.
Bought this a short while ago to use as a headphone preamp and a cool amp modeler while i had no amp, but i have an amp now so don't really need the amp models or effects, but its a great bit of kit hence the feeler. Great condition, bout 8-9/10, couple of minor scrapes on the sides, nothing on the face. Comes with original power supply, and 1 short midi cable. Not after cash on this one, trades only. Would love a Aggy Tone Hammer, but il listen to any trade offers for overdrive/preamp pedals. Willing to add cash for the right deal. Cheers
Excuse my ignorance but is that the rack mount version or the roundy one ?
 23.
Glenn Cornick - EB0 Felix Pappalardi - EB1 and EB3
Have you tried the SG bass? I had a go on one in Hartnolls (Plymouth) the build quality was excellent and it had a distinctive sound of its own but I miss my old EB3L, it just somehow had much bigger cojones. I always used mine on that setting too. One of them and a vintage Marshall head (ahem I have two for sale) is the classic set up. Why dont they reissue the EB3L slotted peg head with the original pickup selector configuration?
 24.
If only you'd done this when we'd been PM'ing about valve heads .. I'd av taken one Steve !! good luck mate Si
Thanks Si Im gonna sit on them both and watch them appreciate in value. It go's without saying Basschatters have first dibs, if you ever have need give me a pm. All the best. Steve
 25.
Bump
Okay (creak as loft door closes)
